well strictly speaken both the hornets and the gripen get access to fnf even if they aren 13.0 but 12.7 instead
You are correct, the Gripen is a harder sell having to sacrifice your main A2A for 4 Agm-65s and BOL pods is rough.
The Hornet though should be a really good CAS alternative
Realistically you dont need Gripen for the UK lineup. You can bring EFT for CAP and AU hornet for CAS. Given it can have BOL and its AGM65E and such last i checked. Its make it a vastly better lineup for the UK than before and if you wanted to you could use the Gripen as your CAP/CAS backup and have the hornet still be additional CAS. Its definitely far better then some nations for Top tier.
Has the AU hornet gotten confirmation that it should have the A model engines?
Agreed, top tier CAS is nice for UK not sure I will grind the F/A-18
Gripen was needed for back in the day but now I agree it could be removed
Wouldn’t happen, as the Gripen still fills the 13.7 area for air. Just like how the Ito on France wont get removed despite them having no actual ties to its creation outside of selling the missile system on the market. Or the F16AJ still existing and not getting removed after the OCU but i digress.
Will say the GR.7 is still one of the better 12.0 CAS slingers given it has access to AGM 65G. Cant think of any nations that have AGM65G at 12.0
Nvrmind forgot about the AV-8B lmao
GR.7 with MAW, the full BOL load and 4+4 65G, 9M is easily among the best CAS we’ve got if not the best rn
Does it hang with the newer SAMs being unbearably slow doesn’t fill me with much hope.
Found what I was remembering, not for the EFT though, its for the Tempest, but if its developed, you never know
Shorterned ASRAAMs for easier internal stowage and an increased range ASRAAM with radar seeker to bridge the gap between the “mini” ASRAAMs and Meteor
The first of these is a pair of “Future Deep Strike” missiles, one of which is a ramjet-powered supersonic missile intended for time-sensitive targets such as air defense systems and is reportedly being considered for an anti-AEWs mission. Its counterpart is a subsonic stealthy cruise missile, essentially an evolution of Storm Shadow that is in service with the RAF. A pair of new anti-air missiles were shown (visually similar to ASRAAM), one optimized for internal carriage allowing two missiles to be carried on each rail as well as an “Increased Caliber” missile with a radar seeker. The latter missile is likely to fill the gap between the Meteor and the shortened ASRAAMs. - Source
Too heavy for the SRAAM pylons, too meh for any MRAAM pylon, Meteor would work out cheaper and better in every relevant way (aside from HOBS launches, where an SRAAM IR is going to do better regardless).
angry ass ALARM
Shame ALARM never made it to EFT service. It’s a cool missile.
I’ve just been thinking… with only 64 flares and the accepted bug report to reduce it to 32, would we not benefit from making the MAW a little less aggressive? I feel like bursts of 4 flares when they’re already large calibre is a bit excessive.
Huh?
damn.
Well if it’s realistic then fair enough. I just don’t enjoy the bug reporting system. I think the games developers should ensure the models and vehicles are correct and should not be dependant on the player base.
I feel we have another nerf coming for Typhoon rumblings the UAE flight test data shows some turn rate at sea level lower than we have in game. Someone is producing a report
All bug report is pretty much useless if the dev doesn’t care about it. The dev picking up bug report is like picking up a card and showing it in a poker game. HOPEFULLY the dev don’t consider to reduce EFT CM count unless they compensate it with BOL Fixes (even slight fix still better than nothing). Since as of today we haven’t see the bug reporting manager giving update regarding the future implementation.
How can they know the pilot was giving 100%
Some.days a hunan cant handle the Gs that he could the day before and then theres the rusian pilot that doesnt even wear a G-suit…
Iv read enough, buff the Raf
Probakky some caveats to this if it is UAE flight data, but we eagerly await the report :)
