There hasnt been the need for it. Heck, they rarely use the double racks for ASRAAM/IRIS-T either.
More often than not, those Pylons have been used Brimstone or GBUs. The Typhoon has yet to be deployed in a situation where maximum missiles mass was actually needed. Even in the air policing roles its doing currently, they are likely in a 2+4 or 4+4 weapons fit with a tpod and external tanks (though based upon some of the images, they might even be in a 4+0 weapons fit at the moment)
Not all squadrons have access to them, in the original purchase plan then only budgeted for “front line” squadrons.
Cant find the full reference right now but only the “AD” aircraft where to be fit with them and “OS” were not. Basically the MOD is cheap haha.

No it just reduces the ranges based on the carrier, so a 100km radar is detected at 50km at 50% etc etc.
Hu, interesting… I wonder why a reduced RWR sensitivity is barely noticable on the Typhoon, but very noticiable on the Tornado. Maybe its just a placebo or something.

Yep, that is what I assume so far. Its rare seeing them in either 4+4 or 2+6 weapon fits, even at the moment

i dont think that there is too much of a need for having more than 8 missiles
In the current environment, the extra 2x ASRAAM for shooting down an extra 2x drones per aircraft could be quite useful.

If so, I woukd take him (EF mod maker) + the one from RCSM or Epic Thunder or Opex, he got an real Leopard 2, while gaijin must have Recorded then IRL, and than mixed them with the Ariete (Leopard 2 sounds like a Ariete/ Ariete sounds 1/1 like an Leopard IRL)…
They seem to do this a lot. The challengers and chieftains sound swapped with default sounds.

That hinges on the assumption that the maximum lock on range is also the maximum range at which your RWR can detect the missile if you are in its main lobe. It may very well be that while the lock on range is 16 km, the range at which your RWR can detect that missile while it is locking you is higher.
You can test this in a server replay by going into the settings and changing the sensitivity from when the missile initially locks you (RWR sound will react immediately to the change in settings).

It was just that sometimes my EFT RWR would show a missile warning, only for it to disappear, appear and disappear again in the space of a couple seconds. Only happens a couple times so far though.
Never had it do that. maybe your RWR sensitivity is too low?
Even then sensitivity is all over the place.
RWR picks up even single missile that is coming in your general way while most of the incoming missiles wasn’t even targeting you in the first place.
Not to mention a missile that bypasses you somehow appears on your RWR and keep alerting you for no reason, overall RWR needs serious rework.
It is but the full mod is more than worth it. I think it’s just under £5 for the membership but you don’t need to keep it, you can just pay once, download the files and cancel the membership if you want. It’s what I do since they update the mod after each major update release.
