Well germany specialy has a parlament vote for the funding of the AMK for the geeman EFT.
Here is the question how that relates for other nations. They joining development. Or buying more expensive. Which seems weird if they wanna get it either way…
It goes into part of the P4E, but doesnt mean every country chooses to adapt, just like Pirate and the LWS. Right now seems weird considering only germany is funding it, (as far as i am aware)

I think the point is that you shouldnt be forced to only be able to use a gun against helis, when ARH and Brimstones should be effective but currently arent due to bugs and game limitations

Not to mention that any remotely aware heli (particularly an mi28) can use their built in aimbot to just liquefy you with the 30 if you try to go guns.

Yep, and the fact that helis seem to be quite resistant to gun strafes as well. Had more than a few take a stream of lead and then just continue on like I was firing tictacs at them

You get pilot sniped by a good Mi 28 pilot. They have APDS in the gun for some reason
APDS isnt the most effective against planes
and it could get APFSDS
The gun can fire APFSDS…But not from a helicopter, no one wants 30mm SABOT Petals bouncing off the Helicopter. And yes APDS travels faster has a flatter trajectory and more importantly armour piercing it will go through the nose cone and into the pilot leading to an instant kill on the pilot. It also shreds other helicopters it is THE best gun on a helicopter in the game, well Gaijin nerfed HEDP rounds on an the AH-64 and increased the spread.
No other nation in game uses APDS rounds on their Helicopters

Sliiightly more importantly… 2A42 can’t fire 3UBR8. I’d have to find the patent that documented it but it’s the same reason BMP-2 irl are confined to UBR6. The sabot interferes with the muzzle brake and leads to a CEP50 of 1 metre at 100m (practically a shotgun).

Yeah I don’t know what they have been doing but every update the plane targeting pods are getting worse at getting locks on vehicles, both air and ground. Can’t get a solid kick on tanks beyond like 8-10km as of now which is pretty stupid
