You people will never be satisfied even if the Rafale loses an engine, gains 2 tonnes of dead mass, has a WW2 radar and only has two Magic I missiles instead of MICA and Magic II. Why can’t you just put your effort into something positive for once?

I get it, you like an easy aircraft that can instantly win every fight that requires 0 skill. But that doesnt make it balanced.
The equivalent would be sticking the Typhoon at 13.0, thats how far ahead the Rafale is at the moment.
But sure, continue defending the Rafales OP nature.
I cant wait for the Rafale mains to be screaming in pain when the Typhoon gets its IRL performance

Yeah, and once all your nerfs come to the rafale and it loses to a Ju-288 in flight performance and weapons you’ll still cry that it’s too strong. EF2000 is already the best flying plane in the game with an actual UFO FM that effortlessly beats anything else WVR and is only held back by bugs (which btw aren’t exclusive to the EF2000 or the fault of the Rafale) and the devs being pigheaded.
Two can play that game, You want to pull buff after buff until the EF2000 walks all over the game with zero skill or effort.
Oh, so just like what would happen if you people got your way? Where anything other than EF2000 is just food for EF2000?
Dont make the mistake of thinking every other nations players think the same way French mains do and want a plane with literally 0 competition.

Except you people are incredibly predictable and you’ll not be satisfied with removal of 2 missiles, you’ll then ask for the HMD to be gone, then the radar to be nerfed, then the flight performance, and so on.
Let’s both not act like the rafale fm, ESPECIALLY at high altitude, and its acceleration/turn there, is accurate what so ever

Its straight overperforming loads at the moment. In contrast the only aspect of the Typhoon that is overperforming is slightly too much STR at very high alts that I think might be a bit of a buff if it gets fixed as it might reduce the squirreliness at very high alt.
In most other respects the Typhoon is actually underperforming

This has been the most obvious solution to fixing the Rafale in the first place, limiting its match impact by putting it on the lower end of missile counts at 6 along with the light fighters like F-16 and Jas-39, and limiting the off-boresight shenanigans the Rafale gets to abuse with HMD + MICA. Its also historical.
I dont think I’ve seen ppl ask for the radar to be nerfed, I have however seen a lot of people ask for other nations to get radars of similar performance.
Theres bug reports in to nerf the flight performance because it is comically overperforming
The Rafale is balanced and everyone gets to start having fun again in air battles, instead of only French mains like its been for the last 9+ months? Pretty sure this isnt a complicated thing to understand lmao

None of you have answered my question. “What happens when you nerf everything the Rafale has so it performs like the original Su-27 (the one based off the T-10 prototype) flight model but has no missiles?”
Will you go after the Su-30SM next? How about the F-2?

You people don’t want that. You want anything that isn’t your favorite crushed under the sledgehammer. I’ve seen it before. Nobody really wants a balanced fight. You just want to be above everyone else, but only just enough to deny that you have an advantage, claiming that it’s fine and balanced now, don’t touch my favorite thing please.
People just want it to behave like a jet. It’s currently outperforming an aircraft with less drag, 4000kgf more thrust, and it has impossibly high STR that doesn’t at all match irl documentation (or other aircraft being too poor in that regard), it’s a total UFO for what it should be.
It’s established that the EF is underperforming in:
- STR
- ITR
- top speed (and acceleration)
- supercruise
bugs entirely aside.
It’s a canard delta with a TWR of almost 2 when clean. It should.

Unfortunately this is the case for a lore accurate EF. Most countries in game lack a “true” G4++. Rafale F4 will do the same once fully capable.

Yeah, and if it happens they’ll go and say there’s no need to push the tech limit beyond this, because it’s “finally balanced now!”
Edit: also I seriously doubt the people who want these “revenge nerfs” will be satisfied with a Rafale that performs like the IRL one. They’ll go until it performs like a pale imitation of the real one.
