Out of curiosity, what do we know about the radar/IRST and what is/isn’t correct? PIRATE especially feels far too weak on the search side of things and the target tracking capacity of Captor feels abysmal.
CAPTOR-M
- Missing critical search modes such as Priority Track (Report) and GMTI/T (ground radar)
- likely underperforming in a few key ways, such scan rate, power, etc, but sources yet to be found to confirm
- Target identification via radar
- A number of bugs to resolve such as ghost contacts.
This is a good over-view of CAPTOR-M :
PIRATE
- Lacks flare Rejection
- Incorrect Range
- Lacks Passive Ranging
- Lacks 200 target TWS
- Cannot Slave and DL for ARH
- Lacks ground target auto-detection
- TGP doesnt slave to IRST lock
Likely more on the way for the PIRATE as well.

You can add these four to it if you wish (though, those concern many Radars/IRSTs and not just Captor-M/Pirate)

Are there any radars in game which are 2 axis only but electronically stabilised in the roll axis?
It seems like most radars are implemented as machanically stabilised on 3 axis, with hard limits on all axis.
Like on the Su-27/33, agree on that, it would look way better.

Problem with IR missiles locking on hud eurofighter
I played a match of sim and every time i lock an ir missile it doesnt show where it locked, it doesnt show on the hud.

Soooo our plane AGAIN carries less ARH missiles as anyone on BR?
it locks different targets from what i tell it with TWS the scan speed is bad , the soft lock doesn’t work and it feels like its locking on to something that is behind the aircraft because the scan speed is bad the IRST is mid at best at the moment, the radar that is the superior PD radar of all and its still … so
Well considering the radar is Blue Vixen with more range and more DL channels i don’t understand what he is on about

as a player that has played the ADV and FA2 i am just saying this radar is worse than a “javelin”
Having grinded the Eurofighter with the F-4F ICE, I miss its radar already
