Aerodynamics Modification Kit
Developed as part of a wider Eurofighter Enhanced Manoeuvrability (EFEM) programme, the AMK package of aerodynamic upgrades is expected to further enhance the aircraft’s agility and weapons-carrying ability.
Upgrades include primarily the addition of fuselage strakes and root extensions to increase the maximum lift created by the wing by 25%.
This will lead to an increased turn rate, tighter turning radius, and enhanced nose-pointing ability at low-speed, which form the critical fighter capabilities in air-to-air combat.
"We saw angle of attack values around 45% greater than on the standard aircraft, and roll rates up to 100% higher, all leading to increased agility. The handling qualities appeared to be markedly improved, providing more manoeuvrability, agility and precision while performing tasks representative of in-service operations.
It is a slightly sour point for many UK players that theoreticaly only germany would currently get that one, thats why many agree we should just get standard EFS with IRST for all EFS.
But theoreticaly germany could have the best dog fighting EF

Alright that sounds very good. But someone said smin has denied the eurof? Then which german plane will have active radar missiles?
Do you guys think theyll give r77 for the mig 29? Seems like a stretch even for gaijin.
The f4f ice feels as it will be pretty lack luster for top tier

this… sadly just this. Aim 9L(I)/M are required, if gajins wants to make the plane at least useable IRIS-T would work because the F4f ICE doesnt have HMD, so no other the shoulder shoots.
Besides that we gotta pray for switz F/A 18 or trialed vehicles. or dutch f16 etc

and thats the issue of standards (at least for gaijin)
oh and also i posted a picture some time ago of a german EF actually carrying a SCALP lol; that was for integration testing though afaik

Swiss F-18C uses only AIM-9P-5 and AIM-9X.
this could be little sick. AIM-9P with IRCCM… not that usefull in top-tier match.
gonna get aim 9m for balancing, like many other vehicles did currently

iirc hornets only use dual rails for wing mounted missiles

I definitely know the Hornets can’t use dual pylons for the fuselage. its only on the wing stations.
We don’t have the BR for Su-30/F-80C Block 20 yet sadly.
They are FAR more powerful than Mig-29SMT and F-4F ICE in weapon load.
Swiss hornet can use LAU-127 single rail.
thatd put the AOA at about 34.8 deg btw, seeing as the base Eurofighters are limited to 24 deg irl. Granted idk how thatll look in WT seeing as the F-16 is limited to 25 deg irl.
I think if Germany got the AMK Kit from IPA7 then surely they’d get the IRST fitted to IPA7 too no?
It would definitely be nutty, and as much as i’d like it if all of them got them, I have the Germany tree too so i’ll be playing it regardless.
