Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

SAAB barracuda netting by chance or some other manufacturer? Cause it sounds a lot like SAAB’s claim with their netting.

sure, if someone is uptiering it from 9.7 to 11.7 or 12.0

“Saab’s camouflage solutions offers true multispectral capabilities against a wide range of sensor. These are the properties for the product:…
… Radar (RR)
Radar (radio detection and ranging) systems use radio waves to determine the range, direction, and velocity of objects. This is achieved by emitting radiation and retrieving information from the reflected radiation. Our products provide protection against synthetic aperture radar (SAR) systems that generate high-resolution images as well as fire control radars and target seeking missiles.”

As for how? Not entirely sure, but probably something to do with muddying the radar return by scattering the incoming signal. Obviously wouldn’t be a perfect solution, but should reduce the lock range at least.

Yeah it’s Barracuda

Eg Marders; Boxers and Wiesels have lower BRs :)

Damn you beat me to it just added the image lol

do you really think they would get those nets, even if gaijin were to implement them

As cosmetic for future premiums yes, snail loves money and people loves camo nets

That ingame Boxer MGS already got Barracuda panels and skirts. But without any effect, just cosmetic.

Wait does it? I have it and didn’t notice, guess i need to take a better look. Regardless it just cosmetic stuff for game balance until all nations get something if i had to guess.

So does the 2A4M and the CR2 TES/OES iirc
In battle rn but I’ll check in a minute (The Thai M60A3 stock grind is pain)

We’re kinda going off topic so lets bring it to its correct forum lol.

Sry, ist the Vilkas, not the MGS.

Your original point is incorrect. Multi-spectral smoke is known to exist, at least in NATO spheres.

So a fair gaming convention is to say “above X BR all smokes are multi-spectral” and boom done, now all tanks that see MMW, have an active counter, same as IIR munitions.

yeah would be similar to what they did to spall liners, where they disapear after being hit once

We can go decades into the past to find fielded munitions.

End of story. The “MMW has no counter” is BS.

i was answering to a previous post,… rosbif boy ^^

and yet, what’s the size of the grenade,… because last time i checked, a 76mm can enter in 40mm tube and doesn’t work in 80mm tube, and it seems Abrams used 66mm tube

76mm is German Leopard
40mm is KF-41
80mm is Leclerc

All nations already uses exactly the same types of airborne countermeasure no matter the caliber/nation/manufacturer?? Why should gaijin model smoke any differently?
