Well, I don’t need a new 460k RP jet to unlock every second update. Its totally ok to have one capable multirole. Otherwise TT becomes too cluttered with too much to research in between.

Gaijin have hinted Gen 5 this year or early next year.
Only hope is new a tranche of Typhoon with an updated FM and AESA Radar…
im pretty sure that theyve already come out and said that 5th gen is not going to be added this year
Once they add that sure well need tranche 4s but until then an actually fixed EF would be enough

Typhoon is the new Gripen a Pariah it was scary for 10 minutes and now been crapped on so much players don’t even enjoy flying it. I don’t it’s a chore trying to fight with the Radar and then defend all these missiles while your aircraft just runs out of energy and flops around while at high altitude like it’s on water! Gaijin keep buffing adding new features to other aircraft and the Typhoon just eats poop.

Recent federal budgets show production orders of the AIM-260A, so it’s fair to assume it is in service.
There are orders to produce the missile not sure it is fully in service. If it is in service it will only be with a handful of squadrons

1000% It beats a jet with guns nerf now. Defyn was still saying it’s one of the best jets when the a hole hasn’t played it since it was launched!
So many people also use that stupid Stat shark as a basis.
Typhoon is so average in so many ways and not having a working Radar is one the biggest issues with it. Even in dogfights it looses energy so quickly you just fall out of the sky.
Honestly the Gripen feels superior to Typhoon.
i mean statshark kinda shows that the typhoon is mid. It performs a lot worse than the Rafale and 2/3 perform significantly worse than the SU30 despite having a lot less players

I do think that luque13 is totally being overdramatic with pretending how bad it is, seeing as it’s still a really solid aircraft.
But yeah it’s radar should have been fixed long ago.

yeah its not like the EF is unplayable or bad its just so weird that the Eurofighters bug report list gets longer and longer each update while the Rafale gets buff after buff despite already being the best plane by far

Does it being bugged make it an average or even bad aircraft? No it’s still an aircraft with a lot of potential if you play it using at least 2 braincells.

You forget, its not just Britain its German and Italian nations stuck with a jet that doesn’t work.
Now 1 v 1 yes Typhoon can do well but equal pilots
But against a Rafale you will lose.
Su-30SM you might win or you will trade.
So currently one of the worlds best air superiority aircraft (this isn’t a Tornado or some overhyped British machine) is so heavily diluted it isn’t even part of the meta.
No one plays it, everyone is fed up with how bad the Radar is it can’t brawl or do what Rafale can
and the worst thing about it, it’s just not fun. The Rafale and Su-30SM are the most played jets ingame.
I am interested to see if German mains prefer the Swiss Hornet with a Radar that works and more than 6 Radar missiles.

Serious question? Its fast can turn a few times before it loses energy. It’s MAW system is buggy

Its great at defense
Good high altitude FM
Good amount of countermeasures
Probably the best MAWS, RWR
It’s ok at defense. It loses speed getting into notches, moreso than say an F-15E or Rafale.
Countermeasures is a mixed bag, sure you get a lot of BOL, but you only get 64X Large countermeasures, and BOL in its current state isn’t great.
MAWS should be 360 degrees but its definitely not in game, and the RWR is def one of the better top tier systems
Good at high altitude yes its fast
But try and turn and defend and you lose energy and your aircraft buffets and feels like it’s on water
MAWS system is buggy wont save you from anything…even IR missiles it reacts far too late but it does give you a more accurate missile position.
Counter measures yes again good number but they are BOL which are nerfed and are only 1/4 as effective as large CMs. I tend to run Flares exclusively for my large CMs and Chaff for my BOL.
Im not saying its as good at defense as it should be, BOL and PRAETORIAN are gimped af but its still overall better than the F15 and at least on par with the Rafale defensively
