I think Germany’s EF-2000 should receive the AMK, or maybe a future block iteration, to balance the lack of IRST.

Eurofighter [DEU], F-2000A, Typhoon F.G.R. Mk. 4:
- added maneuverability mode
- will begin working from below 720-700 km/h IAS or M0.51-M0.5
- wing adjustments:
- made much more prone to wing stalls when at high AoA (loss of Cl in a spin 0.03 → 0.2, loss of Cd in a spin 0.07 → 0.08)
- moment arm shifts by AoA adjusted:
- will now be shifted further in at 0 degrees AoA (0.015->0.02), reducing pitching moment close to 0 degrees AoA
- 10 degrees AoA shift changed to 15 degrees AoA, will just extend it out a bit with the same moment arm shift at that point as it was at 10 degrees AoA previously
- 25 degrees AoA shift changed to 35 degrees AoA and adjusted to instead shift in versus shift out (-0.01 → 0.12), reducing pitching moment past 15 degrees AoA
- added maneuverability mode
-
- wing, 0% flap deployment:
- induced drag Mach multiplier curve linear coefficient increased from 0.2 to 0.4
- will mean slightly reduced induced drag from M0.25 to M0.65, but increased past M0.65, increasing and decreasing retention and sustained turn rates in those respective regions (comparison)
- moment arm will now shift slightly in from M0.3 ([0, 0] → [0, 0.01]), continuing as normal from M0.6 as previously, very slightly reducing pitching moment
- induced drag Mach multiplier curve linear coefficient increased from 0.2 to 0.4
- wing, 100% flap deployment:
- induced drag Mach multiplier curve linear coefficient increased from 0.2 to 0.4
- will mean slightly reduced induced drag from M0.25 to M0.65, but increased past M0.65, increasing and decreasing retention and sustained turn rates in those respective regions (comparison)
- moment arm will now shift slightly in from M0.3 ([0, 0] → [0, 0.005]), continuing as normal from M0.6 as previously, very slightly reducing pitching moment
- induced drag Mach multiplier curve linear coefficient increased from 0.2 to 0.4
- wing positive overload strength reduced by 1 G ([-6.88 G / 13.93 G] → [-6.88 G / 12.97 G])
- note that this is a bit off at speed as the canard can contribute lift in a turn, increasing the G force past what only the wing can generate
- wing, 0% flap deployment:
-
elevator angles controller adjustments:
- will overall deflect less from 1000+ km/h at 10000 m
- will overall deflect less from 400+ km/h at 6000 m
- will overall deflect less from 700+ km/h at and below 2000 m
- decreased sensitivity multiplier at M0.2, reducing pitch moment and surface effectiveness (1.39 → 1.1)
- will be the same past M0.3, only really reducing how sharply it pitches from static until M0.2
With all these nerfs the Radar upgrades had better be worth it.
What is that?
AMK a model trialed by Germany to explore increasing Typhoons AOA.
How bad is this nerf?
Where to see these?
I’d have to try that on stat shark to be sure, tho from some minor testing in the dev and live I’d say the difference is noticeable
the drag thing looks like a massive nerf over .65 mach but a minor buff below .65…
1g less is obvious
well
had a good run
It’s 1g less provided by the wings the canards also effect the G hence why it’s able to pull like 16g currently
Feels like they are slowing it down to keep the F-15E guys happy and to pander to the Su-30 guys.
These are pretty sizeable nerfs when you combine them all we end up with.
An aircraft that will stall and struggle in slow speed manouvres - That is realistic though
An aircraft that wont be able to fly as fast in BVR engagements or defend as well with elevator nerfs
An aircraft that accelerates fast to 0.65 but then falls off trying to get to the supersonic regime
An aircraft more likely to rip wings
An aircraft that will not retain energy when turning as well as it did.
An aircraft that carries the fewest MRAAMs
And we still dont know if the Radar will be worth all these nerfs.
So Eurofighter top speed will be much lower than the current ~Mach 2.27 in game when the actual top speed is supposed to be Mach 2.35.
I dont think the speed has changed just the time it takes to get there.
Effectively from what I can see your BVR speed instead of being mach 1.6+ at release will be closer to mach 1.3-4 for the same distance travelled.
This will have a massive impact on the lethality of those 6 120s.
Again until we test it we dont know
Well, seeing the F-14 has also something (special) when the Engines are off could be Worth an shot xD
Nice. He is right about raptor HMD development, raptor has already tested HMD and is getting one soon probably
I know people see the lower wing overload but they mainly fixed turn wing ripping, now even at mach 1.3+ going down to thicker air (near the deck) you can’t really rip, maybe if going 1.4+.
But i noticed quickly that after 4-5 180 degree turns at mach 1.3 at 500 meters your wing will just snap off randomly, probably because of airframe stress.
Gaijin buff TV pod “again”… Good things for Kh38 user “again” while EFT still stuck with laser guide missile. And no GMTI mode for EFT while Su30 will have GMTI mode…
Not Russian bias…
So what weakened the typhoon was?
A buff to the max targeting pod range…
