No, it has the base N001, which is the same as on the 13.0 Su-27s and the worst top tier radar.
Also better missiles?? What?? It has the exact same missiles (and less, for that matter).

For some reason I thought they had the same radars and the J-11A ran PL-12’s, just confirmed that I was wrong, thanks for the correction, that is pretty tragic :/
Just wait for the J-11B, than you get the good radar and PL-12s
Eurofighter chat ??
Please give us Brimstone 2’s and a working radar Gaijin.
Su27 pilot is clueless and has no idea what he’s doing
I haven’t recorded it happen yet, but yeah this is exactly what happened to me. Have we submitted a report for this?
Really annoying when you’re trying to BVR your way to a event stage
I’ve also had an issue on the EFT where my missle seems to dissapear about a second after launch, and i can’t see it, hear it, or switch to the missle view thing using the keybind. I thought it had proxied on something, but the missle seems to still “exists” because i’ve scored some kills with it while it seemed to have stopped existing.
Best map to do it on too.
Is the Eurofighter actually a UFO like this IRL? I know Gaijin doesn’t model the FBW systems yet so this type of maneuverability will get restricted in the future, but even as it is now, I never see Eurofighters pull like that in airshow clips. And if they did, certainly they’d lose more speed than that. Right?
Apparently the EF in-game has no AOA limit which really helps at low speed.
Game limitations allow the Typhoon a bit more performance than it had IRL, but the same can be said of the F-16, Rafale, etc. It is not a Typhoon only problem.
But in fact, the Typhoon’s FM is likely underperforming in some ways, like max speed.
If they would fly with maximum allowable limits by the airframe at airshows, the plane wouldn’t suvive long I guess. Additionally as already mentioned: No AoA limit in game and Gajin is unable to simulate inherently unstable airframes which would be uncontrollable without Fly-by-Wire controls. In-Game it’s the peak of Pseudo-Realism. Neither really right nor really wrong.
this radar man… its doooooogggg
gaijin… please
Agreed. Its my favourite one
Yeah I’ve basically given up running the EF-2000 until they fix the radar and the VR HUD issue at the very least.
How the hell does the 18x Brimstone + LANTIRN Pod setup only have one third of the drag of the 6x AIM-9M + 4x AIM-120B setup?
0,06 kgf vs. 0,18 kgf
Pylons, rails etc. lack any drag, mass etc. So only the payload itself counts.
