Ground and air development are seperate though. Having more stuff added to a certain branch has nothing to do with focusing I’d say.
The devs notoriously have “Air” and “Ground” focused patches, for example we have recently had 3 back to back “Air” patches and before that a couple of “Ground” ones, it’s evident that the devs are focusing on air currently because frankly we are nearly out of new shiny toys to add to ground and they are rationing a new MBT every 2-3 patches to conserve the extent of their additions
Could that be idk, maybe due to ground vehicles were way ahead of air ones? We had 90-2000s tanks with 70-80s aircraft for a good while.
Pretty much exactly this, a few nations need to get their more modern MBTs but currently most nations in game have a tank from 2015+ whereas most nations are lagging behind in terms of aircraft besides France and Russia
Honestly an understatement. We have ground TTs with zero domestic options left for new additions, and some that have just one vehicle left to succeed their current “top dog” (these being: Japan which has none, and Israel who has just one MBT left, even Italy is just banking on the KF51 atm but if that falls through then you know what’s gonna happen).
Only Germany, France, Sweden, US, UK and Russia still have vehicles left to add, some more that would actually be “better” in the meta (Germany, France, Russia, and Sweden i.e 2A8s, EMBT & T-14) and some that “wouldn’t really change much” (US and UK i.e SEPv3/v4 proto [even if they upgrade the armor, people will still shoot the neck, or better yet, we will get ammunition that invalidates their armor], and the CR 3 [whose main IRL strengths like FCS and sights won’t change how it plays from the CR 3 TD unless it gets a better engine).

Hopefully we can see their APS/Anti-Drone 30mm slapped onto a testbed soon but until then yeah, thailand is the only saving grace for japan to get more than 3 top tier mbts
People aren’t going to be happy when they find out that it’s germany and france leading worldwide MBT development, personally i can’t wait for the NEXTER EMBT and Rheinmetall KF series and leclerc XLR, no one else really comes close when it comes to new tech/designs and rounds

It’s a way of distinguishing the two, since NEXTER produced the turret and KNDS produced the hull, and it was NEXTER who debuted the prototype at Eurosatory, i’d rather keep calling it the NEXTER EMBT
I tried aim aside to a ka52 and somehow it got warning and start evading, Im not one hundred percent sure but using laser guide weapon could someting being very depressing. For helis especially russian ones I would just close my rader and use my gun, there are higher success rate than Brimstone, somehow I dont know
EMBTs hull is a Leo 2 hull from KMW… so calling it Nexter’s is just disingenous.
Firstly it’s my preference since its virtually a 50/50 split in production and we are now off topic so please stop pestering me about what I want to call a tank 😂
As stated in my reply and given that KNDS is a conglomerate between KMW and NEXTER, this really shiuldn’t be a point of contention.
Its the same as if we would start saying the rheinmetall challengers
They are RBSL tanks (C3 and C2 RH anyway)

I can’t wait until every jet with a capable rwr gets the ability to lock/slave sensors to enemy AD/Ground Radars
I would not care if it’s made by nexter or whatever, as long as it goes to both france and germany.
The project is called EMBT not FranceMBT anyway.

That’s the point…? KNDS is a conglomerate, so saying:

Is wrong. It’s a product of KNDS. So is this wrong:

KNDS produced the turret & the hull, or, to be more specific, its subdivisions, i.e KNDS France produced the turret, and KNDS Deutschland produced the hull.
You’re attributing just one of the parts of EMBT to “KNDS”, and trying to make the other look like it has got nothing to do with it by saying “Nexter” which is a nomem dubium since 2024.
I think we are getting a bit off topic here
