Eurofighter Typhoon - Germany's Best Fighter Jet

Huh?
Could it be an something to do with HMD?

But how is that physically possible? The Rafale has a worse thrust-to-weight-ratio and higher wing load than the Eurofighter Typhoon in every situation.

Could be anything to do with the sights

Could be the thermals for all we know

Delta canard configuration and drag. The mythical twr of typhoon is only on speed. Not low speed maneuvering combat. Its canard config is for high speed maneuvering and less speed bleed. Rafales canards are made for maneuvering and aoa in mind and it still does well above 1.0 at low speeds. And i think wingloading of rafale is less than of ef or about equal ± few kg.

Is it the datamine for live?
And could you sent the link.

Not live yet

So it’s on the dev server.
Then it probably will be pushed to live today or tomorrow.

How can this shit happen.
They downgraded how the cockpit looks once the update went live.

Found a new problem, EFS is not working :)

Ohh thats unfortunate, I’ll see if I can nudge a dev.

I made a bug-report on, if it helps.

I thought the cockpit looked different yesterday. I don’t think it was from dev server to live server but I think it was one of the updates on Tuesday or Wednesday that’s done it. Could swear the cockpit was proper on Monday when the update came out

Eurofighter’s lower-wing load makes up for it mostly, it currently is lacking hard in its ITR AoA (even in STR, in fact), whereas the Rafale has been modelled correctly in this department as far as I am aware (the difference between them currently is massive, to say the least a fixed EFT would be a much better match however). The only reference that I have been able to find about Rafale beating the Eurofighter in WVR A2A combat comes from a French source (airforces.fr to be precise) and is dated to 2009 (so for one, it’s old, and two, it’s very possibly biased). I have not been able to find anything else in regards to EFT versus Rafale.

Well my last point of reference was on the dev server.
So my conclusion was it changed from dev server to live

Is there hope for the Pirate on the German EF?

@Smin1080p_WT are they planning to add PIRATE to the German Eurofighter or is this one of these weird dev things

Hopefully. It will also clear the road towards AMK for all EFT users in the future, otherwise only Germany would have a claim to it due to having tested/trialed it.

I think AMK wouldn’t really be that useful in game

It gets max about 10kg less or its about even, its not making up for anything.
Rafales ITR is around 32°/s and STR 24°/s with up to 32° of AoA.
Do we have current figures of both in WT??
Because if i do quick look on google, usually EF is stated to do 1-2° less in both cases.

The EF is significantly under performing in ITR and STR in game currently. The ITR of the EF prototype with tornado engines is 29.7d/s and the STR of the same prototype should be well over 20d/s as the prototype exceeded the 20d/s requirement with the engines with significantly less thrust. This is with full fuel and 4 missiles.

Actual built in service typhoon should far exceed those numbers especially in STR simply due to the lighter and significantly more powerful EJ200 engine.

In game the EF fall short of even the Prototype numbers by about 5d/s
