IRST doesnt require completely new airframe, its a modification can be applied to existing airframes as well, just like making modifications on pylons.

HMD and pylons don’t
Both HMD and pylons requires modifications on existed frames, you cant just slap HMD and additional missiles to airframe without changes on FCS,airframe and Computer systems.

IRST on a Eurofighter is not that
If you want a German Eurofighter with IRST suggest IPA7

another difference is that being at 14.0 without an IRST is way less significant than being at 14.0 with only 6 missiles

I mean i don’t really care if we don’t get irst, we could get the ipa 7 with it on sometime.

PIRATE IRST was tested on German EFT’s so we know its possible to use it on German ones, just like Italian and British models.

All due to it being higher quality and standards then the Russian built weapons

So the Rafale is now equiped with 8 Mica-EM Missiles, while the EF is stuck with 6 AMRAAM Missiles, even tho it “could” carry up to 10 of em?
you say that as if the mica-em and the amraam are direct equivalents, also the rafale was limited to just 6 missiles before, whereas the EF can carry 10 of mixed types
