MICA EM is much better for close combat than Aim-9. I would just ask for more MICA EM than MICA IR (which won’t be seen and heard on RWR anyway)
I don’t think that is gaming it. I don’t know the specifics of that missile, but if it has IOG/INS, it should not matter whether the launching aircraft has a line of sight to target, as long as the aircraft itself has the coordinates of the target and conves them to the missile before launch.
On the Block 50 F-16C IRL, for example, you can mark a POI with your JHMCS, the HUD, or enter the coordinates manualy. The aircraft will the remember that point regardless of your LOS, just like POI markers in game.

This is not an excuse, Brimstone 1, in order to destroy the target, you will spend too much time, this is also taking into account that there are also a couple of fighters in battle that will not allow you to wait for the rocket to reach the target on the ground…

That half wont hit anything because you will be barely above mach 1 at alt and you will most likely eat amraam from EF or 15E doing mach jesus at 12 000 meters with your amraam having half of their effective range.

They are but as a British main we have CR2s and Germany has Leopard 2A7s
We also don’t have a comparable high tier IFV so gaijin the spawn points is a real challenge.
I expect to lots of German Typhoons in Ground RB and a handful of British ones :(

Amraam will fly 35-40km anyway. Instead of 45-50 km with 6-8 Aim-120
end of the day italian ones will be the best since they got the best light tanks to spawn stuff etc
35-40 instead of 55-70. The speed at alt gives it HUGE range boost.
The British government is just playing War Thunder and they are against the clones.

I don’t think the IRL performance is the issue. It’s how it’s modelled in game and that is the issue with M1, CR2, Leclerc etc.
I would like a high tier light tank…but you know we have to use the Fox in top tier games

more ALT with mach 1 will give more effect than less ALT but mach 1.5
at least, for two planes that goes headon, when one climbs, but gets less speed would win in time-to-hit
