Never said it should. F-14 should have it’s realistic limitations tbh, but that was actually shown on a flying airframe, we don’t have any pictures similar on an EFT, only theoretical solutions
They are, but hear me out, applying the highest amount of pressure on Gaijin - throughout the whole history of this game was the only working way to get things done right or closest to right.

welp, if youre about phoenix amount - limitation is that it just easier to land with 4 phoenix, nothing else
The combat load of the Typhoon is ± 7500kg
One Aim-120B weighs 148kg.
12 Aim-120s will weigh 1776 kg + 2 Aim-9 170kg.
16 Aim-120s will weigh 2,368 kg + 2 Aim-
9 170 kg.
You can also add 6 double pylons and two single ones under the Aim-9
The load will still be less than the maximum load.
At the same time, the F-18C has a combat load of 7,030 kg, which is almost half a ton less than the Typhoon.
The F14 would exceed the maximum landing weight for the carryer with 6 Phoenix missiles
I’m all for the german typhoon being as good as it can be, it’ll be the first one i grind out for certain and I only want it to be as good as possible, however I am highly concerned that it will be artificially nerfed in either FM, engines, avionics, radar or DASS, or all of those together.
I think it far more important to push gaijin to add it correctly than to add a broken, underperforming mess but with some more missiles, would completely ruin the experience for me

So with such a load, you will gain altitude on the side and from height and speed scatter them into opponents in all whom you see, and after shooting half you will be able to go to the ground and you will have another half to finish off the survivors. (At the same time, you will no longer weigh so much and you will fly normally.
It will be slower than F-5C and unable to defend against incoming fox-3s, this loadout is only for idiots with a fatal misunderstanding of how BVR works
Dunno kind of realitiy check, but on Dev EF2000 has almost no chance vs Rafale in a typical air RB close to mid range confrontation. Rafale usualy emerges on top, after most footage I’ve seen so far.
Yeah and even mica on M2000 or rafale will outrange this loadout at high alt.

as does the M2k in game right now to the F-15E, mid-close range is the MICA’s strong point and of course it will excel there, I do not expect to willingly enter WVR fights until typhoons get their advanced IR missiles, or some improvement over early IRCCM Sidewinders

As for me, you can at least not give an Aim 9 to a Eurofighter, because you won’t do anything with them in close air combat. We need missiles with TVC, albeit with a homing head from 9M
It’s just that the Eurofighter loses in close combat due to the fact that he lacks angles of attack, and IRIS-T compensated for this (albeit strongly).

Because on the dev Rafale had zero IR missiles, while EF has AIM-9s with decent range and good IRCCM
Just woundering why everyone is so excited. EF is not the best addition next patch, even compared to past patches, it isn’t.
FM doesn’'t seem very well, Its losing every pure dogfight vs Rafale and is stuck with AIM-9L/i (others get better close range IR missiles) and the same AIM-120 everyone else has as well. Community currently also works hard to restrict its radar missile count. If this gets throught not much is left.
EF2000 comes along without its main weapon systems, sadly. Old 9L/i never hit. Too many flares. Some rumors also said its FM will be nerfed…or is.

but with terrible kinematic performance and poor manoeuvrability compared to similar IRCCM missiles, I’d rather see an IRIS-T with flare rejection of 9M and manoeuvrability of MICA than another crappy sidewinder
