These upgrades were never accomplished to my knowledge.

If it was 3-4% it was incorrectly calculated
I personally want a dude from the reloading (competition??) of PzH2000
Oh, no-no-no, absence of HMD would make the French rafael SPECIAL, wouldn’t it? That’s a distinguishing feature…
Out of curiosity, what was your guess/expectation of the EFT’s channel losses?
7-8% optimally, 9-10% is more realistic outside of test environment. This is pretty standard as there is no way to avoid channel losses in modern fighters. The intake tunnel can only be so short to allow the supersonic shock waves to slow down incoming airflow to subsonic speeds. During static or idle conditions, airflow will have friction and pressure differences resulting in less than bench thrust. Depending on whether or not the exhaust is properly modeled on the bench you will also have to incorporate nozzle loss coefficient.
If it appears there are no channel losses going from static bench to installed thrust it is likely due to a filter being placed on the bench testbed or an intake was simulated. The calculations could have been done wrong, or they are using a enhanced thrust setting when installed that was not used for the bench measurement. Whatever the case, channel losses are pretty standard for turbofans at around ~9% even on the most modern fighters.
a-10
not to sure about the specific channel lose of it but it should be one of the lowest if iam not wrong
Don’t listen to mig-23m, what he does is a classic “claim it’s X, pretend it’s normal” he’s yet to prove his calculations are correct.
EF-2000 T3 after T2 Block 10 in the future and battle rating higher 14.0 but before Tranche 4 Quadriga
well somebody made a bugreport like that

Spoiler
My question was worded carefully for a reason.
Id honestly prefer if the German EFT remained without PIRATE, and the Rafale F3R remained without HMD, as thatd be the most historically accurate setup for both, but it makes no sense for the French Rafale F3R to get an HMD and the German EFT not to get PIRATE if thats the direction Gaijin picks.
I totally agree. Though, does anyone has any data on EFs ability to lock helicopters?
Radar:
Captor-M can identify stationary ground vehicles, a heli will be easy
Pirate:
If it can detect an aircraft at 50-80km usually and even up to 150km under good conditions, should have no issue with detecting a heli.
Ah yes the historical German Brimstone 1
IRST has never been on any in service German Eurofighter and is a unique feature to the British and Italian
HMD has been tested on the Rafale for year on a few versions with other F3Rs using HMD as well. The HMD is done because it is very important in top tier and isn’t something that is part of the plane and since the F3R can use a HMD it is why it gets one
IRST has been tested on multiple German Eurofighters for years and other Eurofighers are using it as well
Were you able to file the bug report?
No, Gunjob confirmed that CAPTOR-M Was getting TLC and to hold off on bug reports like that for now:
Hmm, ok, I’ll hope they don’t forget about that part
