50% would be a huge benefit. 333° as you write would probably be only maximum movement when its tracking something at REALLY close range whilst the EF and that target are both going extremely fast in violent maneuvres.
I agree normal scanrate would probably not approach that speed.
It’d be quite a simple suggestion for Gaijin.
The CAPTOR-M should be better than both the ICE radar and blue Vixen, but not as good as the Aesa on Rafale. Whatver that means to them would be hard for us to counter
though with SAR its kinda well hard to prove something because you can often achieve high resolution with just increasing the scan time.
eurofighter can reach good resolutions but we dont know at what speed
Brimstones have 3 modes of operation. We have mode 1 in game, Mode 2 is a LOBL mode with FnF and mode 3 is a true FnF LOAL mode. Mode 3 would be totally game breaking at the moment, but mode 2 probably not, but gaijin refuses to add it on balancing concern reasons. Despite weapon systems like KH-38s being just as capable, if not more so
Perhaps, they do also have shorter range and a much smaller warhead. At least the 1s.
But its annoying from a PvE perspective in sim, to have such neutered weapons. Almost no point running them on something like the GR4 due to the fact you can only engage 1 target at a time.
As I said Im glad I am not the one who has to make these decisions. Also, this proves to me that intelligent debate on brimstones CAN be had, without it devolving immediately
Hehe yeah, and yeah… The only balancing factor is quantity. with a like for like IIR seeker from the AGM-65, they would be one of the weaker AGMs at top tier
yep, only pre-programmed targets, but you could essentially jsut ripple fire them over a battlefield and they would go find targets. Coordinating with each other to each hit a seperate target. Was designed for just wiping out soviet convoys
