Iirc Germany does not field F-18s but rather will go straight to the F-35

I hope they do NOT add a premium F18 anytime soon ahaha.
Def could see them going straight to it, but then it would be more years before Germany would receive a decent jet again.

I can imagine that the F-18 could be added after Mig 29. But if they add it to the Bomber line after the Mig-23 that would also give players a reason to finally research this line.
I’m guessing it will go as a squadron, like with the Chinese J-17 at rank 8. I don’t see it going premium.
I can see that too. But I’m hoping they just make Swiss a full-fledged sub tree, and add whatever they can. Only having 4 Tier 8 TT planes is super hard to stomach, while other trees have 10+ and keep getting more. I know “that’s not their doctrine” and “they don’t have anything else to add” but it still doesn’t change the fact above, there’s many ways to go about it.
F/A 18 i highly doubt going to squadron, thats still to high in br with easily being 13.7 like all the others

There is the possibility they will put early Typhoon after F-4F and later models after MiG-29, some with better air to ground after Tornado and then F-35 will be after the fighter variant more than likely imo.

They developed it irl but only as a demonstrator, it never implemented on any EFT I’m pretty sure, also it has 352 countermeasures (176 chaff & 176 flares) .

The engine was fitted with a TVC Nozzle but never installed in an aircraft.
It has up to 352 Countermeasures split between 320 on BOL dispensers and 32 internal charges.

They’re good enough when you have 320 with the current IR’s but soon won’t be. Personally, I think yes it needs fixing but its not the end of the world, though if the engine is quite hot it could be…
Definitely needs fixing if PY4 is indeed coming though.
Iam more worried about chaff, i dunno if its me only but chaff from bols seems to be absolute trash.
Pitch is done primarily through the canards and elevons, roll is primarily done with just the elevons
You mean like how China has ROC F-16’s followed by PLAAF J-10’s followed once again by ROC Mirage 2000’s?
pitch is done through the flaperons as well.
iirc the canards initiate the pitch maneuver and the flaperons trim it out
