the Ho 229 was never fitted with the MK103 nor the engines it has ingame. Think that was only to be done with the V6 prototype, but it never went beyond V3

Typhoon is a production vehicle, it’s not a Ho 229 or Arado 234 C-3 [which started the treatment that Yak-141 got many years later].
Thrust vectoring engines are more mass than help, especially for the delta canard design.
Oh, and EJ-200s aren’t a plane… shouldn’t need to be said.
Ho 229 and EJ-200 are not the same class of asset.

that it kinda was, from my knowledge it never received countermeasures, radar is iffy and IRST is certainly not a production model.
Would have said that it also didnt had a gun, but then remembered the Brits wanting to fly their Typhoons without guns, but didnt in the end because it needed a counterweight and the best one available was the gun itself
Those components should totally receive the same treatment that Ho 229 and Yak 141 did before if/when the DAs get added. The TVC engines are somewhat fantasy in comparison

Then no reason to add it when we can just get Tranche 1 and have a complete aircraft that dogfights just as well.
As cool as TVC sounds, its weight increase usually causes the aircraft to dogfight worse.

the idea of DA1 and DA2 for most people is an aircraft that dogfights worse so it can be added asap.
Both were equipped with RB.199-104s in their first years
Tranche 1/2 can be added at any time now to begin with.
I stopped entertaining the prototypes as an idea in my own arguments when the gen 4.5 BVR American aircraft got added: F-15C MSIP II.
Typhoon adds to that dogfight capability which in the current WT meta isn’t as helpful anymore.
Otherwise Gripen and F-16A would be the best of their BRs right now.
