The Typhoon is simply outclassed at CAS by even the F16A and with the terrible radar it’s pretty shit at CAP too.
You coming in and being a smartass saying “hmm well actually the Paveway IV is FnF so you can’t complain” is quite honestly dumb.
Yes typhoon isn’t the worst ever at cas but every player that was excited for brimstones certainly expected more and would have no problem if they were implemented properly but limited to just 6 for parity with other nations.

16 brimstones means you can harass the enemy for far longer than 6 Kh-38s.
Yes Pav IVs don’t track but in most scenarios they will do the same job.
I prefer just to slice enemy in half with my almighty LITENING IIIs laser designator. Wait, you guys have been launching something this whole time?

Except you forget the most important fact of all, you’re not playing by yourself.
In this game the most “meta” way to CAS is to quickly find and fire all the FnF weaponry you have so that you can either return to base (what every Su-34 does) or do CAP because you’re a multi-role (Su-27SM/F15E/etc and now SU-30).
Being forced to constantly lase targets or rely on the GPS guidance of the Paveway is extremely inefficient and if the enemy has a brain you will practically get no kills at 12+km.
The other option is going in close to kill enemies which is efficient but leaves you extremely vulnerable to enemy CAP, Helis with AAM and SPAA with IR AAM.

I’ve not seen a su-34 get a nuke yet, but I have seen a few people get 2/3 kills jump into an EFT and get enough kills to nuke.
And when killed by a Kh-38mt I can still spawn a tank unless there is other Cas up.
But the same EFT can kill me multiple times if I don’t do anything. This is particularly annoying when you need to get caps to stop losing the game.
Yeah i will agree with that, once you’re winning spawning in a EF and controlling the map the 18 brimstones are better than 6 Kh38, but if the enemy has Spaa you’re just not going to turn games around the way a Su-34 does, plus many people just leave the game when killed by a kh.

Oh really? You know why they’re never getting a nuke? Because upon launching 6 KH-38’s - some of them leave the plane to spawn a backup, just to launch 6 more, RTB and launch 6 of them again, because you can pretty much launch them 100 meters away from the airfield on some maps. Oh, that’s your 18 kills. Would you be able to get 18 kills with brimmstones? Yeah, that’s likely. But will take you half a year + absence of CAP + absence of SPAA + abscense of HSTV-L like vehicles. Which is, to put it gently, highly unlikely.

Yea, there is. But now is much harder to do. And that is the point. Now it’s not a competitive CAS jet anymore.
Just because it has a higher skill floor doesn’t change its potential

Oh hell it does. We’re not looking at it in a vacuum here. In the reality of a normal match - it’s not a competetive CAS jet anymore. I’m dare to say that Phantom KWS is taking the crown again.
Agreed, the average cas player will prefer and be far better with the point and click
