Yeah I’ve basically given up running the EF-2000 until they fix the radar and the VR HUD issue at the very least.

How the hell does the 18x Brimstone + LANTIRN Pod setup only have one third of the drag of the 6x AIM-9M + 4x AIM-120B setup?
0,06 kgf vs. 0,18 kgf
Pylons, rails etc. lack any drag, mass etc. So only the payload itself counts.
The AIM-9 missiles are less in number (6 vs. 18), more sleek in design (more pointy, less round), smaller in size (127 mm diameter vs. 180 mm) and the AIM-120 are half submerged into the fuselage. The quite big LANTIRN pod comes additionally on top to for the brimstone setup.
Even without Pylons, Rails, etc. the Brimstones + LANTIRN should produce much more drag than the AA loadout or the AA loadout should produce much less. It doesn’t seem quite right currently.
AFAIK the same goes for the AGM-65 ammunitions. Six AGM-65 produce much less drag than six AIM-9 missiles on a F-16.

How long before the Tranche 3 with IRIS-T and Meteor appear in German tech tree? And will we ever see F-35A in German tech tree?
For meteor ? we are far from it.
In my opinion when we will see f35 in the game we will have not long after meteor too, but i don’t see how 300km bvr will be in anyway fun.

There is no german tranche 3 with iris-t.
We would get IPA aircraft with them if anything
The iris-t is the current basic IIR missile of the luftwaffe, is it not? So why would the Tranche 3 not get it?

We’ll just call the IRIS-T the ASRAAM-lite going forward :P
but the asraam is the long range IRIS-T so that doesnt work
