One thing that can be improved on is that the blue vixen, which the ECR90 is based on, was machanically stabilised in 2 axis (elevation and azimuth) only.
Roll stabilisation was completely electronic, effectively giving 360 degree stabilisation when rolling the aircraft.
Currently the radar has a gimbal limit of 70? Degrees when rolling.
Everyone who can get western or domestic tech is getting it. If they can get Chinese instead of russian, they get Chinese. Market shows us in reality how trash russian weapons are. Noone who can pay the price and is able to procure western or chinese weapons, is choosing russian, they are joke.
That coping about R-77s and flankers is inanse.
Even that dumb grid design was left behind in russia. Somehow its supposed to be so good yet noone else did it and russia is ditching it too.
That bug report is old, apparently it was sent to devs again to fix it. Now we can only hope. If they wont fix it. There is no reason to play top tier as all radars perform two times worse in refresh rates than real ones.
If you know Gaijin very well there very high chance they don’t
like what they did to 2A7V that had armor weaker than 122
they can be anything but competent is not one of them.
Most WTD61 aircraft are marked with 98 as their first two numbers. All aircraft are owned by the Luftwaffe and are passed on to WTD61 for testing. IPA7 (98+07) was originally 30+44 prior to being handed over.
is there a bug cause by exchanging Aim-9Li-1 to Aim-9M because althrough there is no modfication but Im still using Aim-9Li-1 instead of Aim-9M on my Eurofighter, or it is just work as intended?
Isnt that just the aforementioned weapons law circumvention? WTD employs about 650 people. 50 of whome are active duty and the rest is civilian. I was under the imprrssion that most of those were simply airbus personnel using an official Luftwaffe squadron to do testing on the Eurofighter.
The IPA 7 (98 + 07) is owned by the Luftwaffe’s/Bundeswehr’s WTD 61 unit (previously known as 30 + 44 Tranche 2), which is not part of Eurofighter GmbH/Airbus.
