Would be nice having RWR contact lines im the HUD yeah
but in other planes it work or no? because i can’t understand how they can find me so easily without being able to see my plane with the hmd, if for other planes is actually a functional thing

We’re talking about completely different things. I was talking about the video proof someone else posted of the EFT having RWR display in the HUD
the lines with circles in the bottom left corner in the pic above.
This is already a feature on HUDs for jets like the AV-8’s
I do wonder though, the dashed lines suggests to me that the circle is supposed to be an overlay, and the dashed lines indicates where you need to point the aircraft to find the target, not just a lazy equivalent to the flat RWR display from your MFD… anyone know if thats correct?

Let’s see what improvements the new Eurofighter brings, this should be along with more systems fixed, otherwise it would be disappointing

We’re talking about something different, I mean the RWR contacts in the HUD;
But yes the HMD should also display RWR contacts also reported;

Its from an official Eurofighter simulator so yes. And the other is an EADS presentation so also yes.

It should or at least use to show enemies, but only those that were detected by the radar
u went to the german eft thread to ask a question specific for the italian eft.
not to mention simulator being a way lower community, dont act like that for sth most people dont use

apart from the fact that I point out to you that apart from the badge, the Eurofighter is currently identical for every nation within the game, I said that because it could have been a bug caused specifically with the Italian one and maybe the German and/or English one didn’t have it

There is 2 types of contact in the HMD
Friendly contacts are provided by the datalink and it will display friendlies anywhere.
Hostile contacts are ONLY shown if they are detected by the radar and you are in TWS. I dont beleive they show if you are in other modes besides your primary contact, if you lock on, you will get symbology
Edit: Confirmed Only TWS displays in the HMD. @Gunjob is that correct, that only the TWS mode should show contacts in the HMD?

This would be such a massive QoL and effectiveness improvement for the EFT. Finally wouldnt have to try to guess where a threat was in elevation

They really need to add little indicator arrows for the targets relative elevation on the RWR
