The interface is bugged and its really hard to use properly and the radar itself is underperforming loads. A lot of placeholder stuff.
But just being an AESA it finds things fast without having to spend 10 minutes fighting with the radar, performing machine rites to appease the machine spirit, etc etc.
and the situational awarness that gives is lovely.
It would be interesting to have, especially with Striker I / II combiend with AESA for that epic amount of situational awarness in SB. Having the HUD is actually quite a nerf
It’s incredibly annoying just how large the HMD deadzone is; I lose targets on the dogfights because it goes dark as soon as I look anywhere near forward, and have to wiggle my camera for the IFF to come up…
I wish they fixed that, or just had the ability to keep it on at all times.
Id quite like the ability to just be able to customise the deadzones. That could include basically removing it.
I think would personally leave it off unless I had my head adjusted more than a few degrees. So it was off when looking straight through the HUD but otherwise visible.
Would it be feasible to model these separate vehicles with different modifications and brs like the Multivehicle spaas exist?
Take the bukm3 for example, you grind it and get access to the sub vehicle the telar (Which is already aced, I belive)
So, instead of grinding two different Eurofighters you grind the Eurofighter vehicle/Folder and get access to the modificed asea eurofighter too without needing to stock grind.
I’m not a programmer so I don’t know how it actually works but it seems like the only way that is relatively low effort band aid fix to this problem, if it were the case.
I’m tired of having to grind the same vehicle twice for just a single modification.
for example: Swedish Gripens and Finnish F18s
but my concern is that Gaijin can barely balance the game with everything having just 1 BR. If they had multiple, even just 2… It gets messy fast.
But at the end of the day. Having multiple aircraft to grind, increases the chance of you buying premium time, or a premium, or dumping GE into the game (like grabbing early essential mods) and that is Gaijins only real motivation
