Eurofighter thrust (Wrong)

The Eurofighter has too little thrust considering the weight, the Rafale with a weaker engine has better thrust, it is not realistic and it is not a balance, the Eurofighter has almost no chance in a 1v1 dogfight, which is amazing because of the capabilities of this plane IRL. I hope you will take care of it because we love this plane.

that sentence contradicts itself, “weaker” but it has more thrust rofl

yes, but you can see everywhere that the eurofighter has more thrust, and significantly so…

Ah, how do I tell you…

What?? Rafale beats it but it’s not F-16 vs F-4.

Whole post is a whole lotta copium anyways

that comment was made with sarcasm in mind

Perhaps one could be less pedantic and realise they tried to say Rafale has weaker engines irl but better thrust in WT.

To adress the original point, testing showed thats not the case, EF does have more thrust in WT as it should, and played correctly it should beat any equally skilled Rafale

true hope they fix this issue if not its sad to see

I agree it, i hope they will fix because now is not too realistic.

I meant 1v1 with the Rafale because in dogwight the Eurofighter still generates more power and I’m not talking about the first cycle but in the later phase when the Rafale does not have enough power at that moment, even if both planes have no power, the Rafale will win because it turns better, which totally it’s not a balance if the eurofighter doesn’t have real power.

FM was still being worked on when the dev server closed. Commenting on its FM before we see the live version is pointless. But people like Flame, Gunjob and Fireball are on the case to get it finalised. Last I heard, it was a tiny bit under tuned when it came to thrust, notably in dry heat.

This is how it is supposed to be, it is a close fight but the Rafale has been shown to beat the Eurofighter in a dogfight.

My previous comment got removed, because i referenced one of the bug reporting managers calling documents on the Typhoon a “clear marketing lie”

just letting the thread know

Just because the plane’s statistics are fictitious and only (based on) real ones, reducing the thrust below that of the Rafale just so that it can completely dominate in dogfight, it’s a bit weak, this is heading in the worst direction where the game gets better and better machines and with that it starts to mix up the statistics more and more, moving away from the real ones just to make the game “balance”, destroying it even more, And I know it was only TEST SERVER

The eurofighter has been shown to beat F-22 in a dogfight before. Does that mean the F-22 should be crippled upon its introduction to artifically make that the normal case? No, it happened once in a scenario that we don’t know much about and involving different pilots, its not an end all be all indication of actual performance. Its well known that by pure flight characteristics alone, a Rafale is expected to lose an equal fight

Even with weaker engine, Rafale still win because of weight/avionics who are better.

Eurofighter can’t dogfight Rafale but can assure BVR supremacy (unless both have access to meteor)
