I just test-drove the Kfir, and it has the exact same radar as the Eurofighter. The same scan speed, the same range, the same lock angle, and the same HMS. The radars on both aircraft are essentially identical, and both should be performing better than they are. The range on them both are 37km, 74km, 148km and 296km. The SEA Harrier FA2 is also the same, with just less range. It’s pretty ridiculous that the CAPTOR has the same scan speed as an 80s PD radar.
CAPTOR-M is a heavily upgraded Blue Vixen (From the Sea Harrier FA2) which entered service in 1993. At the moment, where data isnt directly available for the CAPTOR-M, Blue Vixen Values are being used, but there are a vast number of bug reports for the Typhoon yet to be fixed.
It appears though (for now) CAPTOR-M Did have the same scan speed as Blue Vixen, but what is needed is this to be added ASAP:

Why the Kfir has the same radar though is unknown, likely just an easy placeholder given how rushed this update cycle has been
The CAPTOR M in the game is worse than the Foxhunter radar in game rn. Its should also be able to lock planes 185km like an F15. And it can see a normal passanger plane at around 370km. The facts that are correct and super easy to find is still not being used. So instead of using the shitty blue vixen radar they could use the data that is public atleast
And you said ‘heavily upgraded’ when it hasn’t been upgraded at all in the game. It’s so funny because they released a YouTube video about it yesterday, talking about its powerful NEW radar, and it’s not even implemented into the game.
