Just logged in and there appears to be a lot of people online and a lot of battles active. With seventy plus players waiting to join a match, I have been waiting for five minutes and no change in waiting players numbers. Are the servers broken again ?

What game mode? what BR?
You can also check how many of those waiting in queue are in what ranks by clicking the “EU” tab next to the “Waiting time” tab above the queue timer.
Arcade Ground and BR 1.0, more than enough people were waiting at that BR to fill a game slot.
It seems to have sorted itself out now and back to normal times, maybe the game was waiting to put me into losing matches as the first two games were complete unbalanced whitewashes.

Yes glad it sorted itself out. But if it is not a thing why is the matchmaking so unbalanced ?Lots of pixel perfect accuracy and fraction of a second timing far better than most modern computer aiming systems from an era of optical sights and hand cranked turrets.

The matchmaker only works with BR ranges. Player level and player skill is not taken into account.
Exactly one of the many faults with the matchmaking system which leads to unbalanced games. Player skill, crew skills, vehicle modifications all excluded. So either they are not that important and make no difference or they do make a difference and should be included to achieve a more balanced matchmaking system.
I know that the only thing that matters is queue time so if a match is very short then in theory the players will be recycled into the queue chain, but it is equally likely they will quit making the times longer, the queue times are the prime driver in this game along with money.
There are already many threads on this that you could use to discuss that in that case. You can also make suggestions in that section for how you want things changed (provided you follow their guidelines and rules for suggestions).
Yes but not worth the time and effort, humans are generally lazy and resistant to any change or criticism. I have read that particular thread with interest and nothing has been implemented, just the usual replies.Thank you for the prompt reply to the original post though, have a nice day.
