Literally this, excaberated by the fact that most of these clips happen on the smaller maps where it’s harder to detect aircraft and not often done on the bigger maps.

90 degrees up is the SEARCH radar.
You need the TRACK radar to guide the missile.
And guess how far up the TRACK radar can see?
Drive up a slight incline or use the normal missile with proxy fuze.

I mean you started it, the SMSV is BY FAR the best system for dealing withe the missile spam.
Going back to the ESM issue, even if the bug reports are accepted, they are going to be stuck in accepted hell where they will stay for the next two years.

The 1st number indicated horizontal, second is vertical.
So a search radar that says 360x90 means 360 horizontal, 90 degrees vertical
Of the radar itself
the radar is also mounted on a gimbal that gives it more elevation which isn’t shown on the statcard

The radar does actually not move apparently
However, it is tilted upwards so it can look more than 60 degrees vertical. However, I don’t know how much it is angled. 65-60 degrees maybe?
