If you haven’t tried it Enlisted April Fools event is a Zombies game and its some of the most fun I’ve had in a squad. It reminded me of the very poor state of the assault mode in WT. Id love to see a realistic mode Defense/zombies gamemode in WT to enjoy with my friends. what do you guys think

Zombies are too dumb to drive a tank and zombie tank doesnt make sense.

I would rather want the pony event in war thunder since not everyone can actually get the mobile version of the game.

This game is supposed to be realistic, that’s why the bother of making all the detail of the vehicles, ammunition hits, etc.
Zombies are not realistic. They are stupid and for children.
As an event. I know they are not realistic but if you look at Warthunder’s history of april fools or other events a lot are unrealistic.

Enlisted (which is a gaijin game) is an fps that’s realistic in the same flavour as War Thunder is and also has an April Fools event like WT does, this year one is a zombies that plays just like the good zombies modes of COD WaW and so on. Its availability timeframe was extended because of how popular the gamemode is with the playerbase. We already have a zombies esque mode in the arcade assault which as I said in the original post which would be quite enjoyable if there was a realistic mode available too. theming the enemy npcs as haunted or zombies would be a fun idea for an event at Halloween. We play this game for fun and that would also be fun. Its not like War Thunder has had absurdist unrealistic modes in the past either, the inflatable shermans from the WoT spoof or the flying ponies (which were reused for WT mobile april fools event) are testament to silly fun modes being a fun break of serious theming and very enjoyable
