Engineering Vehicle Discussion
With the recent infantry testing, I’m putting forward a discussion focused on engineering vehicles and how they could shape the battlefield beyond just combat. These vehicles aren’t about frontline fightingthey’re about building, breaching, repairing, and reshaping terrain and structures to support infantry and vehicles alike. From clearing obstacles to creating new paths, engineering vehicles could add a whole new layer of tactical gameplay and team coordination.
Engineering vehicles come in many forms, including armored bulldozers, combat engineer tanks, bridgelayers, mine-clearing vehicles, and recovery/repair units. Some are lightly armed or unarmed, while others carry defensive weapons but prioritize tools over firepower.
Examples could include:
Armored bulldozers for clearing debris, barriers, or light cover
Combat engineering tanks with dozer blades or demolition tools
Mine-clearing vehicles using plows, rollers, or line charges
Bridgelayers to open new routes across rivers or gaps
Recovery vehicles to repair or tow damaged units
What they could bring to infantry mode:
Obstacle removal – clearing barricades, rubble, building removal or defensive structures
Route creation – opening new paths or shortcuts for teams
Fortification building – placing cover, barriers, or defensive positions
Mine and trap clearing – countering defensive setups
Vehicle recovery and repair support
Balance would come from limited combat ability, slower speed, and reliance on team support, making them valuable but not dominant.
- YES ✅🥰

- Maybe 🤔💭

Don't worry we can build back better

Curious to hear what others think should engineering vehicles focus more on construction, demolition, or support, and how much impact should they have on the battlefield? What types of vehicles would you like to see how could they effect the game would they be fun?
