Hello.
With the introduction of Tropical Coast in the Nuclear Escalation event, I believe the map could be a strong candidate for adaptation into an Enduring Confrontation map for Air Simulator Battles.
Air Simulator Battles has received relatively few new maps in recent years, with Rocky Canyon being the most recent addition if I recall correctly, and Tropical Coast already possesses several characteristics that make it suitable for EC:
- Large playable area with varied terrain.
- Extensive ocean and coastline for navigation but also naval objectives.
The map in question

The map would not need to be identical to the current Nuclear Escalation mode. Instead, it could be modified into a traditional EC layout. If it is simpler, using existing convoy routes but swapping out the vehicles in said convoys could also work.
As the map is huge, I would suggest keeping long range + medium-range SAM/SPAA at the airfields, but limit when they engage targets. Given the size of the map, long-range airfield defences could remain present while engaging aircraft only within a defined radius of the airfield.
I believe adapting an existing map would be a practical way to increase map variety for ASB while requiring significantly fewer resources than creating an entirely new environment from scratch.
Additionally, the scale of the map would provide greater room for future mechanics, weapons and aircraft than many existing EC environments.
What are your thoughts?
