SHARD Mk. I is noticeable longer than DM53, that would question is SHARD capable to fit on the Leopard 2 platform breech? Short answer, yes it fits since DM53 is significally smaller then SHARD according to KNDS own public statement on the technology. There should be quotes saying that the CHA autoloader can fit projectiles up to ~980 mm of total length but I’m not sure about that, I would need to go after patents but I don’t think that’s worth it because of a discussion.

I heard that the thermal scope is upgraded from 2a6hel or 2E, but what other in-game differences are there? The reason for comparing it again with the STRV 122 is that sweden is the only country that uses two or more Leopard 2s equipped with extra hull armor

This is one of the dumbest takes people keep posting here over and over. You need to lose 2 crew members to not have a loader. If you lose 2 crew members on 3 man autoloaded tanks, you get sent back to the hangar
