The problem there is that the intention from the devs was very likely to give Germany a new 12.7 MBT
Just like how they wouldn’t give the Leopard 1a5Be its Belgian MECAR ammo because it was intended for 9.3, putting EMBT at 12.3 would defeat its purpose for being added
By not giving EMBT better ammo and putting it in the hands of a less experienced player base will quickly highlight its shortcomings
I would say no, at least on my part I’m not supporting this because the E-MBT it’s not a “pinnacle-of-the-tree” vehicle. It’s technically top tier but alone it’s not any better than a regular Leclerc or a Leopard 2A7, it’s a mixed bag of both vehicles with the best of two being highlighted in a united platform: Firepower of the Leclerc with 5-seconds long reload for a quite good gun handling and absurd mobility of the Leopard 2A7 series in the other.
If, and only if Gaijin adds more advanced vehicles I would recognise that Leclerc platform, everything with the Lisse cannon should recieve proper ammunition to counter next-generation or previously more absurd late-Cold War technology like an Object 195 or a T-14 Armata but that’s only it. Personally I don’t think the Leclerc struggles with the OFL F1 penetrator, if not it’s more like a balance matter to keep this vehicle not absurd as it could be. If regenerative steering is added to the Leclerc its mobility will noticeably improve.
Like I said. It’ll be Germanys first 12.3 🤷♀️

Id like to add that DM53 as a full round is shorter than OFL-F1 by around 70-80 mms and would have 0 issues fitting

youd have to take into consideration the current leclerc are almost 30 years old against the barely 10 years old 2A7, that is the most unfair part for the french tech tree.
If its +10 or -10mm there’s virtually no difference. DM53 is simply an easier addition as its already in the game and just requires them to add it to the tank.

2a7+ as a platform is 16 years old that’s what the embt is based on
