I think they have two reasonable choices:
They could either add DM53 to it and cut through the process of “believing” performance on SHARD for now anyways
Or they add SHARD as it would make sense to introduce it in-game in advance of later Leclercs.

I’m not entirely sure. If the turret ring remains incredibly weak then the armored hull doesnt remedy Leclercs autocannon protection. That and the top speed is much worse, but you will be able to bounce stuff to the hull. I’d say Leclerc has more potential but EMBT will be more forgiving to worse players.
By having to spend at least a million SL each tank.
I bet my entire experience in-game that only a handful of the game’s entire population has their tanks aced, and most of them are streamers, followed by a couple of forum users.

Expert is hardly much worse, and its still an incredible reload rate.
Yeah I don’t expect the turret ring to be as good as Abrams and definitely not the Leos. But if the top speed gets a fix then I could see it being better than Leclerc? Maybe…

this, how does a tank with more engine power and less weight, get the same speed as the Leo2A7v ?
I haven’t looked if there’s a bug report open for it but speed should be again identical to 2a7+ so 68 but the turret ring was pretty horrible idk if it’s 20mm as they showed
Because tanks are normally limited at a safe speed. But it should be at 2a7+ not 2a7V iirc the model currently is just a copy of 2a7V
We already have renamed M829A2 in 2 trees besides the US tree. So I would care less if the German mains asked for them.

Even if the turret raiser was armoured, you’d still fall victim to the CBT meta, no need for weakspots when the other guy’s gun is right there.
But yeah it’s more the mobility angle that’s most impactful, and as far as being a noob tank goes, the tree got leopards nowadays…

Very odd hill to die on considering the ammount of ahistorical DM-53 that they use on tanks that are already armored better than the EMBT while also having it be a half german vehicle
None would argue against those having dm53 removed apart from ariete as the 12.3s are just sad

I have used M322 on god knows how many different tanks from plenty of different nations.

No because it’s on the tank it should be lmao not something that’s just completely imaginary for it to have and use. It’s still unique for the Abrams to have their ammo and not another nations.
