EldE 98 has a very bad surface grip even if the tracks have a wide base they should provide a good ride that was not taken into account by the developer unfortunately. Second think is “Articulated frame”
The EldE 98 frame is divided into two parts connected by a hinge. This allows the tractor to bend horizontally, providing turning. This means if I press “A” on keyboard it should turn left in independence if it’s moving forward, back or stands still. Articulated frame provides mobility on every kind of surface. Please fix this error because a lot of time has passed since the update was released but the incorrect control has not disappeared. Thank you for understanding.
Gaijin have said that the game engine doesnt allow them to fix this vehicle, it was dead on arrival.
They could literally just give it extra phantom horsepower and grip as an easy temporary fix, the incompetence of the WT devs baffles me sometimes…
That has already been done, they technically need to implement new mechanics to make it what it is IRL. ( Community Bug Reporting System )
It would take all of a week (at most) of dev time (accounting for testing) to get this to function.
But minor nation, so why bother.
Again gaijin need to replace the Elde if they cant fix it. It has so many other problems

Unless more vehicles with the same mechanics are added i sadly don’t think it’s going to be any priority for them to implement.
Additionally, a week of dev time to add 1 or 2 new mechanics for only one vehicle out of 2500+ Vehicles in the game isn’t really a productive use of time.
But i personally think (and hope) that they shouldn’t add vehicles they can’t model fully to begin with, better to wait until those mechanics are added at the same time (which is also why i was glad to read about their plans for new mechanics before 5’th gen aircraft are added).
It could be they really want to test the engines limitations with physics because they feel so abnormal, its bad enough they’re really just AI vehicles that follow the player around on a limited axis. Or atleast thats how it was when the flamethrower churchill was added since it was the first vehicle towing something. But maybe this is something else that leads to Dagor being upgraded since all 6.0 to 6.5 added was wind effects on environment and smoke particles on the simulation side.
A week is accounting for their ineptitude, this could be prototyped in a day, ironed out in 2 by a half competent developer. I would be entirely willing to wager that you could get it working “good enough” to most people with only a few hours of work, frankly.
Regardless, any dev time put into the vehicle should have accounted for this functionality. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with telling them to put the time in now to fix what should have been fixed before it released. If they weren’t going to do Elde correctly, especially not in a way that removes the only real advantage it would have over other platforms in the form of well rounded mobility, then we should have received literally anything else.
Strv 103 has been rotting ever since they added it, they still cant fix the aiming. Get shot once and now my tank is having a stroke trying to aim, gaijin needs to sit down and give vehicles with unique gimmicks a cleanup if they intend to keep adding them, no reason to half ass them.

Tbf, thers nearly more gimmicky swedish vehicles than most TT’s and so far gaijin has proven none of the articulated vehicles can work, none of the hull aiming can work (also they love over BRing them lmao) and that basically cuts all BvS models and the only functional UDES XX20 and future strv 103’s.
Who actually wants to play the strv 103’s at a BR where they get shot and instantly get set on fire and cant fight back. They are only good against basic targets in a full downtier nowadays.
Elde is carried by killing recon micros and cant get ammo half the time. The tech mods cant read half my instructions on how to look at the Elde problems hell they told me that the Elde trailer pushing the front when turning or breaking is a graphics card issue like what?
I think you’re wrong on this specifically. I have played it since the BR change and had no issues playing it.

Given im the only one doing Elde mobility reports yeah i have asked some of the mods but i have yet to get a reply back from anyone.
Have you sent separate messges or added more moderators to one single message? second option is by far the best as it preserves the date of the original message and doesn’t make it look like a new request. Best to add like 1-2 moderators every 2-3 days or so. Eventually one of them will answer.

There is 16 regular ones and 7 seniors, If you’ve added the seniors they usually wont answer without one of the regular ones answering first, Seniors should be the last to be added if you have gotten no answer from any of the other 16 you’ve added to the same message.
