As of today we are currently unable to edit and create new preset loadouts while in battle, with us currently only being able to create/edit in the hangar.
A new addition of being able to edit and create new loadouts while in the menu during battle would be a nice addition, especially with new game modes like nuclear escalation being added. Since the need to be able adapt easily for new missions, with an example realizing you need more SEAD capability in your bomb loadout but you dont have one made.
So with how it currently is you would be forced to leave the game and return to the hangar to add the SEAD capability to your loadout. Instead with the new system you would just land at an airfield J out and enter the loadout menu like we have in game but now you would have access to the preset actions and create buttons aswell to edit or make new loadouts.
