I took hundreds of spikes to the face and never got a non-penetration. 60% of the time I ended up dead, and the other 40% were critical hits with half my tank dead.
edit : Oh, and I’m not going to bring up the Russians. We know they have a preference and that they have technology to stop ATGMs, but not a drone with an 80mm mortar shell in Ukraine. Everything’s fine.

yeah first match fired two, only one hit and did no damage and the other missed/ failed to track?

I found that they perform decently against Russian MBTs. Not so much against NATO MBTs …

Oh really??? Personally, it’s neither one nor the other; for the Russians, it’s ALWAYS the commander’s periscope, or else it’s the tracks because why not, IT’S FUNNY AFTER ALL. Otherwise, NATO vehicles… well… it’s either a gun and breechblock or nothing, or I’ll hit the roof of a light tank, but no overpressure, no, that’s not possible.
In short, like all French vehicles, always underperforming, and it’ll get a Battle Rating boost because it’s French. Brilliant.
Oh, and I obviously won’t talk about the seeker THAT NEVER LOCKS IN because the missiles aren’t bad enough, they’ve added a seeker that doesn’t lock in even if the tank is exposed 200m in front of you.

The new Modern desert camo that’s supposed to Be Brune terre de france isn’t even close to the correct shade of brown it’s supposed to be.

I’ve encountered some weird behavior while turning, and I want to see if anyone else has had the issue before trying to bug report it.

Every now and then, when making a hard turn that results in skidding out, it feels like the vehicle gets a brief moment of acceleration perpendicular to the car and more often than not results in flipping over. It feels entirely random when this happens, and it’s been happening less since getting the wheels modification, but it really does feel like the game is magicking energy from nowhere.

I noticed the same behavior in test drives, it’s like the wheels have no friction when skidding sideways. Kinda reminds me of the Type 10’s tendency to shed all speed in any turn and turn way too much.

It’s the front wheel on the outside of the turn clipping into the ground before launching itself back out, and the general whack behavior of points of contacts in the game when the wheel is at an angle relative to the surface.
As mentioned, it also inherits the weird inertia of the Type 10, that can compounds with the launch to flip it over.

Reported a similar bug way back in the days on the AMX-10RC, was easily accepted and fixed, you should go for a report only about the wheels sinking into the ground, as the inertia can’t be reported.

Unfortunately it seems to be gone along the old forums.

i’ve gotten a fair way through spading the vehicle, and i have to say: i don’t think it’s staying at 11.0, even how it is.

The MMPs are still pretty inconsistent, but they’re more consistent than Spikes by a long shot. I do think it needs the right map to shine - I rolled Sinai, and being able to get to B quickly and ripple off waves of MMPs and fight off other light tanks puts you in a stupid powerful position on the map. This might be a map dependent thing, though; I kind of wish you could select whether or not to take slat armor depending on the map, lol.
