I noticed the same behavior in test drives, it’s like the wheels have no friction when skidding sideways. Kinda reminds me of the Type 10’s tendency to shed all speed in any turn and turn way too much.
It’s the front wheel on the outside of the turn clipping into the ground before launching itself back out, and the general whack behavior of points of contacts in the game when the wheel is at an angle relative to the surface.
As mentioned, it also inherits the weird inertia of the Type 10, that can compounds with the launch to flip it over.
Reported a similar bug way back in the days on the AMX-10RC, was easily accepted and fixed, you should go for a report only about the wheels sinking into the ground, as the inertia can’t be reported.
You have a link to that?
Unfortunately it seems to be gone along the old forums.
i’ve gotten a fair way through spading the vehicle, and i have to say: i don’t think it’s staying at 11.0, even how it is.
The MMPs are still pretty inconsistent, but they’re more consistent than Spikes by a long shot. I do think it needs the right map to shine - I rolled Sinai, and being able to get to B quickly and ripple off waves of MMPs and fight off other light tanks puts you in a stupid powerful position on the map. This might be a map dependent thing, though; I kind of wish you could select whether or not to take slat armor depending on the map, lol.
Well i have 33% of winrate in 15 matches so far, greaaaaaat, wth is going on you cant tell me it’s just a skill issue
To be fair 15 matches fairly fit in an unlucky streak to begin with. I’ve also struggled a bit in the beginning, but I’m starting to get some pace. That aside it’s the FOTM for France, and it’s by nature not a very impactful vehicle in a WT match. Every player currently spading it isn’t running a VEXTRA, or an MSC, or whatever would be much more potent. As they get spaded, and people that are not into it go back to better vehicles and the Fuji syndrome dies down, it’ll get better.
Also the anti-air rounds all being T4 mods coupled with smokes T3 is an absolute chore that leaves you at the mercy of aircrafts.
End of the day, it’ll never have the carry potential of the VEXTRA due to it’s main anti-armour weapon being RNG, whereas a 105 dart in the face is fairly consistent. The VEXTRA can mitigate the inability to really manœuver and engage freely thanks to it’s OHK capability, but the Jaguar simply can’t.
Warthunder Maps ,in general, aren’t really well adapted for the Jaguar and it’s one of those vehicle in which you need to have a really good map knowledge , understanding of the flow of battle (checking your mini map like your life depend on it) and unfortunately a good amount of upgrade to actually be able to do something and even after all that it’s still not as easy as Leo2A4/MSC/Vextra/AMX-40 because you plain simply lack the pen/post-pen damage with OFLT (sometimes) to be able to stand your ground (Avoid aiming where fuel tank are if possible, they seem to be able to absorb 2~3 shots in general).
Have a nuke fresh out of the oven to cheer you up (I hope)
Ah, goddamn it, I speedrun the EBRC research when it was at 400k research points.
Feel like I should have waited lmao
It feels like the missile lock-on is bugged in commander view. It only locks if the target is visible in the gunner’s view as well.
I’ve finally reached a 50% winrate after 28 matches, and i’m sitting at a positive K/D ratio, so things are starting to go better :) unlocking every important modules probably helped aswell, having no smoke launchers in this giant barn really hurts, and the time fuse is awesome: killing recon drones have never been so easy and fun, and a very useful way to help the entire team :D
Yeah, same here, the missile pod is exposed. The seeker can normally lock on, but not with binoculars or commander’s view.
11.0 is still in range of 10.3-10.7 which is one of the largest premium BRs, and there has been a sale not too long ago.

Finally spaded, not the best stats so far, but coming back from a bit of a rut it’s alright.
The poor performance of the MMP is frustrating, but was expected since all F&F ATGMs suck. Got a few instances of missiles not firing as well, but since we have manual control of the seeker it’s just a mild annoyance.
The gun is alright, the dart is nothing special but with the RoF it works. The real nice thing is the PPM round, that deals with most air threats in a couple of rounds, especially recon drones. The OET however feels completely outclassed, could be useful to meme on an open top, but beyond that it feels like a waste of space.
The gunner’s optic placement however, it’s not Stryker bad, but it doesn’t feel good.
The survivability is rather subpar, but not unlike the AMX-10RC, sometimes you just stay alive for some reason. Unlike the AMX however you’re almost systematically crippled.
The mobility is very good, not looking forward to Gaijin taking the gearbox behind the shed to “send it to the farm”, also the front wheels sinking into the ground on sharp turns can get you killed, and thus you have to be more mindful than usual of your lines.
All in all it’s quite what the tree needed, a TT support vehicle for top tier that can enable you to deal with air threats without completely taking you out of the match by playing a near useless AA.
Do wish the base camo was either a darker green, or at least that it got the black wheels.
finaly other nations now see how OP is the spike missile for 4 spike missile puma is 11.0 :D
I had this same issue as well, if you can report it that would be amazing. I’m trying to report that as well, but more reports for developers the better
I just got the tank and it is a lott more fun than the cv 90mk4
Ok my turn to show my freshly spaded stats…
And yep, i really need to work on my skill issue, i did a lot of stupid craps and brought myself into a countless messes i could have avoided lol
Overall very fun to use, sometimes frustrating tho as some maps are very difficult to work on. And don’t get me started with the teams you can have at this BR range, ending 1st place when i killed a single guy and 2 recon drones is not something that should happen lmao
The range of the time fuse shell has annoyed me a lot of time as it seems we can’t lock past like, 2 or 3 km with it, but it can be deadly for aircrafts, and i very consistently one-tap recon drones, which is always a delight.
I’ve also witnessed and been part of the nuisance power of a group of Jags flanking together, it’s interesting to say the least :)
So, well, I recommend it for all the France mains over here, especially if you like the VBCI gameplay
