Guys have you ever had any experience in the Thundershow? how easy was to get in and what clips have you sent?
im for the first time tryna get in with some funny clip of my teammates all on A point making it so chaotic, everyone crammed up and shooting, i hope it’s a bit relevant,
since yesterday the clip of a guy shooting down a bomber with rockets got in i think it’s pretty easy,
Just searching or making funny things every day and sending them to the thunder show should be enough to get some place in it every week if a clip like that got so easily in,
What are your experiences?

All i know is that the clip has to be unique and good, often times a rare random trickshot.

Very hard, I have submitted at least 2 good clips which didnt appear, wonder if they even watched it in the first place. Now I have pending one crazy play.

I have one where I maneuver killed three people in the Ki-27 without ammo. I didn’t get accepted.

I was running from 3 enemiy fighters in a Yak-9 and came so close to the ground
I have no idea how I did not bend my propellors back like a banana peel(which is
far too common!)
I looked back to see all three smack into the deck and esplode . . . it was glorious.
It was not accepted.
I have a feeling if it is not top tier shenanigans, your chances are non-existant.
I pretty much just stopped watching it because of that, you already know what
they are gonna show, so . . . .

I sent in a clip of me in my A-4 blowing up a base and the 3 fighters chasing me, nope, no good, lets play another clip of someone shooting through the side of 3 light tanks in an MBT. Haven’t bothered since.

It took a while for my replay to get accepted and took a while until the 5k GE came into my account but I submitted more replays (some of which were more impressive than my first replay, like once I killed an enemy A-10 with my artillery as he flew over the area I had called an artillery on) and none of them were accepted. I think they accept one replay per user so others get a chance as well so if you have not submitted any replays yet, your chances are pretty high.

It isn’t enough to have an amazingly rare trick shot, the harder part is to win the thunder show selection lottery. I’ve seen plenty of winning clips that were not that good or interesting.
Lots of other far better clips are probably not even watched by whoever takes part in the selection process

i sent in three times a clip of me getting two kills with a single R-27ET but no dice so far
As far as I remember, I only tried to send 1 clip, I gunkilled someone trying to strafing me at the airfield by pitching up my F-8E while still on the ground… I survived and clutched the rest of the match in a 1v5 but that wasn’t part of the clip, of course, but the whole match was funny AF.
I didn’t get into the thunder show, but there was a lot of unimpressive stuff in the following shows, so I assume they just watch a few and select some. Maybe the first or last clip submissions for the month
Another worthy video I have is landing on the enemy airfield, surviving someone trying to straff me when they come back to land on their airfield, taking off while barely avoiding their guns, and killing him back… But since that was during the bugged AAA airfields, I didn’t bother to send it because I doubt they would show something that showcases a bugged game.
i think you have to send multiple clips in different mails than just 1 clip and hope they take it, id say you’d have a a fair chance if you sent 20 emails before Friday
A while ago I submitted a clip of me in an xm246 killing a bmp2m 2k away without seeing him, no LRF just spray and pray and nothing no response.
i mean, not to defend The thunder’s show decisions but, thousands of clips gets send every day, i think the team absolutely doesn’t look at your epic clip and discards it but, just selects the ones that happen to be on their first mouse scrolls, probably the epic clips get outnumbered by some sweat Posters that send slop emails with mid or normal clips with nothing special, obviously it doesn’t mean you’ll never get in to it but you can’t expect to be accepted with 1 single clip in the whole week just because the Clip is cool, you gotta count in if the team sees your clip and if you send the clip too early or too late, they absolutely don’t check every clip on their emails im very sure.
idk if you’ll ever get in to it again but if i often had funny or crazy things happen in the week id send one every day, after all it isn’t that hard to find smt unusual or do some mission impossible little funny challenge every day,
uploading 1 single clip and expecting to pop up immediately it’s veeeeeeeeeeery Hopium like.
i remind you that you’re battling against hundreds of other players that very probably sent multiple clips too than just 1.
Sent a clip of my pilot sniped Stuka making a perfect 3 point landing on an enemy airfield as a protest. Never heard back from them for some reason.

probably your clip got lost in hundreds of other emails and so they didn’t get the chance of inspecting it, remember you’re not the only one sending., always and always try, every day send at least one clip, funny or crazy is enough, and you’ll get in it with time.
