True. And considering many of the 8.0 MBTs for other nations are not even stabilised at all (USA/Germany/Israel, etc), the Mk. 1 is already in contention for best 8.0 MBT just from that alone, haha.
My favourite 8.0 is the WZ305, but that’s a whole other topic.

Seriously, though. APFSDS isn’t some wonder weapon. On the TO-55 I love that it has APDS. The Type-69 in the Chinese tree (also 8.0) has a useless ‘APDS-FS’ round with hardly any pen:

Type 69 gets my vote, fully stabbed, some armour, LRF and first gen APFSDS.
I haven’t played the Vickers but it seems strong.
Mm, might be my personal biases, I prefer a snappy reload over a LRF for most maps.
