Dynamic Maps an Natural Disaster trophy

Hello my dears, I was here thinking with the help of my remaining neurons.

How interesting it would be if, on some maps, dynamic events occurred with and without player intervention.

With player intervention.
I will give three examples that came to mind, but there may be more. Leave them in the comments.

Dam Destruction on the map Parallel 38.
Through bombing, players with aircraft destroyed the dam, causing a flood in a specific area of ​​the map.
Whoever is in that area during the flood drowns or is taken off the map.
By doing this, the player who kills X players (enemies or friends) would win the NATURAL DISASTER trophy.

Rocket launch and interception in Mysterious Valley.
At some point during the match, the countdown to the rocket launch would begin (20 seconds); one team must protect the rocket and the other destroy it.
Whoever destroys the rocket would win the HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM trophy.

In short, without player intervention, it would be.
For example. (And yes, I know it could cause a huge loss of performance, but it would be interesting)
Sandstorm/Snow - Resulting in:
Temporary inability to spot and reducing the effectiveness of sensors such as thermal and NV.
In a sandstorm - Jet aircraft would be unable to pass through the dust cloud, which would cause damage to the engines.


Earthquake - Resulting in:
Shaking of the sight, making engagement difficult.
Destruction of roads, making it impossible to travel through areas that were previously possible.
Collapsing buildings, which could damage some vehicles.

So many interesting ideas, but the earthquake itself seems too rare, maybe as a Apr.1st activity or something.

I think this should be optional, since many players hate clouds, not to mention these.

Okay so,first of all i suggest you to make these type of discussions in the “Suggestion” section,so that it could be added in the future.

Now,i can say that the furst part of the post (dam destruction and missile destruction) is not feasible,and here’s why: destroying a dam MIGHT be considered a serious warcrime so perhaps Gaijin will think twice and be absolutely secure of not risking legal actions before adding something like this.Moreover,this will create a speedrun of spawning in a bomber and absolutely whack the dam. All in all,i think it would kill only clueless players and that’s it.

For the missile it’s sort of the same thing: as long as it’s a space rocket carrying a satellite or an ICBM it is feasible and technically doable,but manned flights are absolutely a no-go.

Now onto the second part: generally i’m absolutely in favour of adding atmospheric events in this game other than rain/rainstorms,but there are 2 main concerns here:

  1. Performance. Something like this might be tuned perfectly in order to not tank high-spec PCs and absolutely destroy low-spec PCs
  2. Player feedback. These events should not be common, otherwise the playerbase might get angry,nor it should not be rare because otherwise the playerbase will still get annoyed.

All in All,i’m super okay with adding dynamic gameplay onto Ground Battles.
