This sort of communication is amazing, I really do appreciate it. I really hope War Thunder players maintain constructive criticism on parts they enjoy and don’t. This is a step in the right direction. We all want the game to succeed!
Which is caused because the whole system is currently dumb.
HELL NAHH . exactly the opposite MORE TT
You still don’t get it. 4/5 major nations AND A TON (dozens?) of minor nations.
It would literally solve researching the same vehicle over and over again. Why am I researching the F-16 in the french tree if I already have F-16A in the US tree? And then grinding all the modules again? Oh and then there is the Israeli F-16. Oh does greek have F-16? Now I have 2 F-16 in Isreali tree. Off to grinding modules again…
Nation Vehicles are literally just skins. Maybe with a slightly different weapon loadout or avionics. Which could be re-searchable modules or whatever.
I have no problem when TT variants are turned into duplicate premiums or when used as a much needed filler
The problem is when they are duplicated for seemingly no good reason since they don’t always fill a need
And also when a TT version of a premium can be added but doesn’t seem to be added to grind as much money out of it for years to come “cough” Finnish K9 - Norwegian VIDAR “cough”
This gaijin statement is on par with the deaf response in May 2023 (80% of players never paid a cent) and just shows that gaijin is still able to tell fairy tales and people tend to buy this nonsense.
Lol - nation identity is just gaijin’s way to earn money with players from nations without an own TT - whilst the inflation of nations representing these player preference waters down immersion as these nations played usually no role in a global context
You don’t get it…this ship is long sailed.
To make this clear (example aircraft):
Until 2017/2018 the game was driven by WW 2 content with all major participants (USSR, US; JP, UK and GER) and had despite its lack of atmosphere some kind of immersion via the axis vs allies MM which were quite accurate examples of a distinct national character.
Gaijin’s decision to implement supersonic aircraft required to add totally useless (regarding their WW2 contribution) nations like SWE or ISR as they had some interesting options of Mach 2 aircraft.
Adding these nations with c+p aircraft amongst ww2 BRs is the logical consequence of this - the majority of aircraft in the TTs (like FRA or CHN) never saw action in those countries during ww 2.
That means:
Gaijin simply don’t understand that their tree / research concept does not work if you have too many eras and too many vehicles to grind. So they countered this by adding of countless c+p premium vehicles which killed the remaining immersion in its entirety. With the JP T-2 you started to see even mixed battles (=same nation fights each other in the same aircraft).
So even when their strategy made economic sense (=maximizing profits) it is obvious that this strategy does just work until there are no shiny top tier vehicles left - and the CoD crowd will go somewhere else.
My pov:
Without an era separation (like WW2, 1945-1991 and 1992 - today) you can’t break the cycle of attracting players, ruining the ww2 experience for others due to a lack of interest/passion whilst they run out of money or time during the cold war era because they think that grinding / unlocking vehicles would be the purpose of this game.
