Ive found myself playing scs over warthunfer more since top tier war thunder has just become arcade mode in all game modes cecause of needless copy paste of the same thing to 5-6 nations.

I read all that already, only you brought up replacing the game.
What?!? Right now, if you want to play Greek, you have to play Israel. How does THAT makes sense? It would make way more sense that if you want the Greek F-4 Phantom, you research it in the USA and then for the Greek minor nation you can buy it or research it just within that nation for a small RP or something.
Also, like I said, there could be lineups created based on real-world coalitions, or even just random in some arcade mode or something. So you could still find F-16 vs F-16.
AGAIN, you are thinking way too much like everything is like it is.
Gamemodes needs to be changed, nation trees need to be changed, etc etc. I’m thinking much more of EC type of games with respawns lasting much longer.
For minor nations, I think you should be able to make ‘lineups’ like ‘coalitions of minor nations’ or something.
The BIGGEST thing I hate in this WHOLE GAME is that Minor Nations are subtrees of big nations. That’s where this whole game went wrong. Its just SO incredibly stupid.
Trees need to be smaller. Go back to 4 or 5 major nations. Beginner player can only choose from those 5 nations. And can start with minor nations as a ‘special thing’ later on to complement lineups. Trees don’t need to be huge and fill every gap. Just the unique vehicles of that country.
The dumbest thing is that we now have the Australian M1A1 in US and Australian M1A1 in UK. ITS THE SAME VEHICLE. It’s so dumb.

Wow, what a nothingburger. Everyone understands why you guys add clones, you want to extend grind and give a sense of new vehicle with no effort at all. For the game with premuim vehicles of 80 dollars you better be not excusing for taking a whole year to develop a new vehicle
The Dutch F-16AM is literally better then the F-16AM from the tech tree its weird

none of what anybody has said in this entire thread has been about the replaceability of this game until you brought it up, people where complaining about how the devs have been treating the player base, especially with this hollow explanation that they gave us and you thank them, theres nothing to be thankful hear

This sort of communication is amazing, I really do appreciate it. I really hope War Thunder players maintain constructive criticism on parts they enjoy and don’t. This is a step in the right direction. We all want the game to succeed!

It would literally solve researching the same vehicle over and over again. Why am I researching the F-16 in the french tree if I already have F-16A in the US tree? And then grinding all the modules again? Oh and then there is the Israeli F-16. Oh does greek have F-16? Now I have 2 F-16 in Isreali tree. Off to grinding modules again…
Nation Vehicles are literally just skins. Maybe with a slightly different weapon loadout or avionics. Which could be re-searchable modules or whatever.
Then add a scheme for one of the French Gazelles and make it so it won’t show for other players in things like Sim
