Duplicate Vehicles: Why We Add Them

Greed.

The answer is greed.

Also slop grind, I guess whales like me are expected to keep shilling out money to have a slightly bearable experience.

But honestly? The grind is slow and agonizing even with premium account and vehicles, so I don’t recommend spending any money it’s just not worth it anymore.

Fix your shit gaijin.

Yeah, at lower tiers they have more, but I remember someone counting all vehicles in game getting to slightly more PRC vehicles total. That could’ve changed since then though, who knows. I’m not going back to count.

I meant the default flag would be South Korea, the techtree name would probably just be Korea.

Split flags are generally nice, but I feel like the UI is a bit small to do it everywhere. For example UK / South Africa / India / Australia split flag would look like a mess at that small scale.

Are the nice things in the room with us?

So then where to put ROC? And no matter where, how would this work with their lower tiers already in another techtree? Do we give the exact same vehicles from the exact same nation to two techtrees, or do we just force ROC players to play two separate halves of their nation in different places?

Yes. If this wasnt the case those copies would be unnecessary or we had some other tt format like joint blufor/redfor where gaps in one country would be filled with other country tech so there is no need to copy same apache 15 times and making it necessary every time you wish to get further in tree. And it would solve current sim issue where ROC fights against NATO for some reason.

the symbol on top of the suggestion will do fine or ChieftainWarrior will definitely have a good idea what to put as a flag putting South Korea as the default nation is wrong

???
Yeah man instead of MBTs that play just like the T-72 but with more engine power + an M1
You’d have
MBTs that play just like the T-72 but with more engine power

There are plenty of examples of other smaller nations that don’t have enough native designs being mixed with other trees. Look at Canada and Australia for example.

CORRECT. NOW YOU GET IT. The M1 shouldn’t be there. Why is there an M1 in a tech tree that is very heavily aligned with and filled with Soviet and Russian tech. They’re TECH trees, not nationality trees. The TECH should be consistent. Now please, try and insist that’s somehow political again. I need another laugh.

They needed a 10.0 area heli the only option was mi28 (also btw the AGS is also a trialed vehicle)

Maybe because

Yep.

Why doesn’t gaijin reduce duplicate research by half like folder vehicles (including modifications or skipping them entirely)?

Why do they now make duplicate premiums instead of visual/premium upgrades for a couple euros for the existing tanks?

Why do they add copy paste even to well enough equipped trees and don’t make it foldered by default?

Greed. It’s greed.

Their community posts can be as long and overcomplicated as they want, the real answer is very simple.

the problem isnt that they get a M1 the problem is how they have put Taiwan in the TT, not even the correct flag or put them as the flag of the TT

The logical system already exists and has for years.
Vehicles go to where they were put in service, trialed, or prototyped.
Sub-trees have exclusive call on that nation’s vehicles.
Non-sub-tree nations going to specific tech trees have priority.
Etc.

That poster goes hard AF

Alright then, soviets don’t have a light tank above 10.7

Where is Puma with spikes in USSR tree? Or maybe let’s add the HSTVL

What about the Centauro?

Russia never bought them and Sweden never bought Mi-28/T-80

USSR never bought the Object 120 either.

Realistically Sweden likely won’t lose the Mi-28A because gaijin always has a prem helicopter, and nothing exists to replace the Mi-28A which is the only thing that could bring gaijin money

i am against trailed vehicles but that one was necessary for Sweden to get the same with the mi-28
