If it is the Strasbourg, and it comes in as broken as the Dunkerque, I’m going to be pissed.

You can also try to see if there is any kind of firing exercise with the dunkerque maybe they will tell it was able to pen a certain ship from a certain distance or at least tell the accuracy.

That would certainly help. If it floods when someone looks at it though, that won’t be fun. I know they’ve “fixed” some of the issue, but it still happens far too often. They really need to divide the sections up properly.
rodney also has a simmiler flooding problem with you “loosing” the front 2 turrets most games as 100 second reloads make them kinda useless and they are in the same section of the unrepariable breach area

Yeah, at the very least.
Not that it’ll really matter anyway, the ship will be barely better than the Dunkerque.
And, frankly, I think it has no buisness being an event ship. Any Normandie class, perhaps, but certainly not this one.

not sure how you would feel about this but i feel for navel if they are adament on adding only 7.0-6.7 event ships they should only do it for nations that produced lots of ships in that range ie britain america as the nations with smaller navys should keep as many in the TT and not lock them behind a pay/time wall

If class have three ship(like Littorio/Venetto/Roma and Richelieu/Jean Bart/Clemenceau) it will be okay to be two tt/one event. But man there are only two ship in dunkerque class.
I wished March event would be USS Colorado in CDK, as it is better for USA mains to ‘jump’ colorado class for now and get North Carolina class instead.

Good news, and bad news. Good news we’re getting Strasbourg soon, bad news is that it’s an event vehicle… The best French bb is gonna be hidden behind the paywall… And also France can’t afford any bb to be hidden form the tech tree, they don’t have that many options.
Maybe at least now they gonna look at AP report.

Yes, that’s an absolute bummer. France doesn’t have that many battleships to begin with, they could have chosen any other warship for an event, like the Provence, or any of the unfinished Normandie class, which would have made a perfect event ship. But no, it had to be the better one of the two Dunkerque class. This is so overwhelmingly tiring. It’s like they want this naval tree to be as unpopular as possible.

Don’t think there will be multiple Normandie class implemented in this game as criteria for non-commissioned ship is little different to commissioned ships.
However, Gaijin just could wait for France. They have better candidate of Richelieu class as there are three of them, unlike Dunkerque class of two.
For this event it would be better for USA, who has plenty of battleship to come with, or Italy who left only Littorio class, which is composed of three ships.(I exclude GRB as it is not so long for them from Barham)
Since the Kronshtadt, there is absolutely nothing preventing the Normandie from being added in this game. They chose the Strasbourg only because Dunkerque model was already here, it was easier to simply modify it to make the Strasbourg and then put it in the game as an event in order to make a quick buck. It’s always like this.

I’m not denying that Normandie class comes but being skeptical about multiple Normandie would come. And then find out you’re not meaning it at original post.

The best French BB so far.
Obvs the Richelieu class (including Jean Bart and Gascogne as options) will be better once they arrive.
