I don’t know if you really know what you are talking about…
At this BR range NO ONE with brain fully dogfights. It’s always about energy. Your life depends on holding speed. The F5 is the one and only can hold Mach .9x in a turn. Maybe a A5C can hold up, but I’m not sure the circle is as tight.
A F5 vs A10 is like Bf 109 vs Zero, it can outturn you with ease but never wins an energy fight.
id like to point out that majority of f5c players have no idea how to perform BFM, pretty much always overshoot on 110% throttle and often panic when they overshoot (i cant remember when i last saw f5c use an airbrake mid fight) and turn straight back to your guns instead of going up or around. when someone is that inexperienced you can pretty much dictate the fight assuming they will just try to turn back into you and shoot. (which they will)
ive seen a single JA37D gun down 2 f18’s in close quarters fight on the deck, still doesnt mean it ‘‘beats’’ two f18’s. just that those people had no idea what they were doing.
i would also love to see su22 vs f5c 1v1 fight where su22 comes even 3rd of the fights on top. both should be piloted by experienced players.
If we assume that the F-5C also plays with the monitor off, for sure, the Harrier wins.
If the F-5 has 2 working braincells, the Harrier may just J-out after merge.
That would be a great point, and when I first fought/played the F-5 I thought it was skill issue. When the F-5s started getting added to other tech tree’s and still sucked however, that was pretty solid proof that it’s the plane and not just the players.
yeah it’s kinda hard to play when literally everyone on the enemy team goes after one person, I always end up in 1v6 or 1v4, my KD in the F-5C is already good its lwky just the people that i play against and the trash ah missiles this jet gets
i would say i know how to use it, at no time in this BR can you even think about dogfighting with enemys like little sheep, and in endgame i somehow end up with no teamates because they rushed a swarm of Mig23ML’s and died
