Ok and? The hellfire was never designed for long range missile jousts with IADS systems.
While I agree it would be nice if the glide/range and DIR/HI trajectory of the hellfire was modeled better, you shouldn’t be trying to trade fire with IADS with a hellfire from high altitude and low speed.
Moving the drone spawn further back will not do anything except make them even less relevant.
Agreed. Crying that a hellfire can’t joust with IADS and that you spawn too close, while simultaneously posting the values of all of the major AD vehicles showing that the majority of them offer at best rough parity with the hellfire is a laughable argument.
If it wasn’t clear (as many things seem to not be for you) I want drones to spawn closer to the battlefield, not further away.
While spawning further away would prevent immediately being shot down as a drone it would require much more time to get in to firing range and wouldn’t resolve the issue of SPAA outranging drones as illustrated previously.
Spawning in range would mean the immediate ability to fire forcing SPAA to be wary of drones thus providing purpose on the battlefield.
Removing them completely is as equally valuable to me as this would prevent any wastage of spawn points by my team mates.
That would just make them completely irrelevant as any IADS player would immediately cue and destroy them.
Both are nonsensical changes based on poor utilization

At least spawning in range would mean being able to punish a distracted SPAA.
