Drones in Ground

I want you to stream some games where you casually MG scout drones to death with your MGs.
The drones you want are the same size and speed quite often.

It would all depend on which kamikaze drone they add but yea if its too maneuverable or fast then this idea is dead for sure.

No. I’m already forced to interact with CAS people as it is and adding more random air capability that defeats any purpose of playing ground battles is gross.

I would like to see the stock drone that can carry Air to Ground missiles moved from being a vehicle that everyone gets in their Ground lineup at a certain BR and instead be an actual researchable vehicle maybe in the Helicopter tree since many of those trees a pretty sparse.

Why are there people who want the grind being even worse? Sorry but complaining about not having to research something is ridiculous.
You can have several drones without a tech tree, too. Just add different drones for different BRs (I don’t even know if many players gaf about different drones anyways).

This is even worse than now where you crash into the enemy just to get him.
I mean, since Gaijin doesn’t care about the frustration levels of players, it will probably be introduced some time making Ground RB even less playable.

it would introduce a new element of gameplay since you would actually have to fly these Kamikaze drones into the tanks themselves to achieve a kill.

I’m not a fan of adding just anything just for the sake of more gameplay. It should actually be fun and fit into the game.
Just look at the Ukraine war. Kamikaze Drones make tanks almost unusable there and you want that for War Thunder Ground RB. So in what way would kamikaze drones be something desirable for Ground RB??
I can’t even find any rational motive why anybody would ever want that in the game. It wouldn’t even add any cool new mechanic, it would just be flying into stuff - wow what a great experience…

The idea was purely to remove the drone that everyone gets because it gets hellfires and they can be super annoying so it was an idea to still allow players that dont have an air vehicle to have something but not something OP.

Like is said in previous responses. It was just an idea and i agree that it certainly could introduce more problems then its worth.

As far as I have understood you, you didn’t suggest fully removing it but making it researchable. I’m not a fan of making annoying vehicles less annoying by making them less common.

I tried to stay rational, even though I would agree that some formulations could have been less harsh.
