The Tanks of TOG by Andrew Hills gives the armor profile based on original documents. Roshindow, the guy who measured the barrel and proved it was a 28pdr, also measured the holes in the front armor and it is 114mm thick.
Will it be sellable?
Please return this big boi to 4.7. The POG TOG shouldn’t fight Tiger Es and its mobility far outweighs the slight firepower advantage over other 5.0 heavies. Especially if the armour isn’t going to be 114mm KCA+12mm mild steel. Thank you gaijib!
Have they moved it further up? it was at 4.7 last i checked
Better be it’s gun ain’t good enough to disregard poor armour, speed and it’s massive profile.
still at 4.7
Thank goodness
Just to check, is that AB or RB?
it’s RB
The armor revision and BR increase hasn’t been implemented yet, it’s a data mine. Once it is implemented the hull armor will be correct, but it’s still missing the 0.5 inch thick mild steel backing plate. The turret armor is still very wrong.
What BR will it be?
Currently 4.7 but evidence shows it may be moved up to 5.0 with improvements to the model (i.e. More accurate armour)

Interesting changes, thanks for providing the datamine. Also what’s the difference between economical rank and Br
Thankyou
Every bug report about the TOG has been getting rejected outright because, quote “The In-game version did not exist.” So apparently that means no historical facts can apply to it.
Wonder when we will get 10.5cm Tiger, Coelian and Panther II back into the game then, if fictional vehicles are now all ok.
As much as I look forward to playing it, they’ve made this thing the same BR as a Panther D. The TOG 2 is a million times slower, can rarely pen the panther frontally with its crummy solid shot, while the Panther lolpens and detonates this thing with APHE. Great balancing Gaijin.
Is there a heavy tank in that BR range that Panther doesn’t lol-pen? The improved armor does open for angling the tank to great effectiveness
