Dreams Come True 2026 Predictions

how long ago would you guys argue is long enough fot DCT? 2014? 2016? 2018?

Really just a guess on my part, and not at all certain, but given the rewards thus far, I’d say a DCT vehicle needs to have been requested since the early to mid 2010s. I might place this numerically as around 2018 and earlier, but again, this is not certain and likely not a hard boundary. Vehicles that have been requested for longer appear to be given higher priority, I speculate.

2018 opens the door for the ACH-47 for a future DCT(we are not getting 2 US in a row so its not gonna be this one), i would offer one of the engineering shermans but we just got a us dct, maybe well get one of the wierd italian planes this time?

and imo the KV-7 should be discarded from all calculations beside country/class because the IS7 was the real reward

The KV-7 is a highly unusual and unique vehicle and I don’t know what the IS-7 has to do with this

That’s not really a fitting vehicle for WT as a whole

the follow up to that years DCT, if you got the KV7 you got the chance to get the IS7, which was the “dream come true” for many, and from what i remember what the real motivator for most people grinding the event, due to the unique circumstances the KV-7 should be ignored in part when considering how popular something needs to be for DCT

ACH-47 is attack chinook, not the AC-47,

The IS-7 was added in 2018, what are you on about?

Yeah, it has a grenade launcher or a couple machine guns and nothing else

That’s not something that should be added unless they give it some additional purpose

slightly higher firepower than a cobra/huey with 40mms, a 20mm?? and rockets

The US Hueys and Cobras can equip the grenade launchers as well and get a good supply of rockets or even ATGMs

there was a second chance event after the KV-7 only available to KV-7 owners, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S84R1-2-ww&t=57

it also had FFAR rockets, and 20mm cannons

you can see the rockets in the photos,

That wasn’t for KV-7 owners, that was a raffle event in a special mode

which was only availabe to KV-7 owners, you couldnt play the mode without the kv-7,

The ACH-47 can’t be ruled out (if it’s even viable for the game), though I consider it unlikely for DCT because there are better options for USA, ones that are more popular and have been requested for longer, that will likely be introduced for USA’s second DCT vehicle instead.

I may revise and clarify my date to around 2016 and earlier for the original five nations (USA, USSR, Germany, Britain, and Japan), with the possibility of the date moving outward to 2018 and beyond as DCT options are used. The date of 2018 and before seems fair for the nations added later (Italy, France, etc.) (and further out for Sweden and Israel, though I know of no options for either), as otherwise they wouldn’t really have too many options because they didn’t exist in game yet.

It is clear from the announcements and other info that regardless of whether or not it was the most desired reward, the KV-7 was the DCT reward for 2024, and as such should be considered in the popularity calculations. The KV-7 was and remains an oddball in terms of the popularity requirement, as it wasn’t really talked about. However, it was unique enough and likely requested since long ago enough that it was accepted for DCT. The KV-7 is the main (and really only) example in my argument that the primary requirement for DCT is “requested for a long time” rather than simply “highly requested”.

Fine, I misremembered that then

It still has nothing to do with the KV-7 being a DCT event

Yeah, a raffle is not much different than the loot boxes, youre probably more likely to get them if you spend enough on the latter even
